  • Thnx for posting the video n even better, playing one of my jams of my fave album by lauryn hill by far! Be blessed! :)

  • luv ur twist

  • First of all, thank you for playin LBoogie rather than talking thru the whole video. People talk so much thru their tutorials.. this was refreshing. Second, love the hair styles, question, what hair did you use from the sengalese twist?

  • @Blizams I believe the hair she used was 100% kanekalon braid hair. I would upload a video further explaining the ends but my laptop is broken. WorldofBraiding has a video named "Tutorial: Creating Natural finish for Kanekalon /Feather tips" that's pretty much the same thing I do. Also, if youre looking for a good tut Uniqueleemade has one named "Tutorial☞ Learn to do Senegalese/Individual Twists!!!" & she does the same to her ends. Hope that helps :)!

  • this helped me alot because i want to get twists butwas afraid i wouldnt know any style to do with them. thanks for the ideas:)

  • @naijasfin3st :) no problem!

  • Love your hair !&& I love this song (:

  • @marmalay well thank you :)!

  • i like ur twist and the song is that jazmine sullivan

  • @smyleyfaceme101 thank you :) and its "i find it hard to say" by lauryn hill

  • thanks! I am about to get braids and am trying to decide which kind I like. These senegalese ones are great. Might try those ones. I am happy to know some styling techniques. i thought I would have to put up with a sore head for a few days from the pulling, but I just ask my braider to NOT pull?? Nice bit of advice, thanks again.

  • I love the length of it! Did they even strech the hair?

  • I love the length of it! Did they even stretch the hair?

  • thanks these are some basic styles i have been looking for for twists!

  • what is this song? beautiful braids, by the way :)

  • How on earth did you explain to her not to pull your edges?? They never understand when I tell them not to!

  • @crystalinthemirror i dont remember asking specifically, but if i did i probably just asked her pretty plainly not to braid them too tightly. i probably just lucked out on a good braider cuz she was such a doll. Just STRESS to your briader how important it is for them to not be tight. You can make something up and say you have weak edges or youre really tenderheaded there... idk, wish i could help more though

  • did ur stylist dip ur ends too

  • @Nnatural420 yes ma'am she did :)

  • what kind of hair did you use?? i love the way your ends look. other's i have seen looks ruggit!

  • @bingbean07 it was just regular kanelkalon braiding hair. the braider pulled the ends of the hair to stretch it before using it so that it tapered and gave the effect that you see. and yeah, im glad she did that too cuz i didn't want no jacked up ends lol

  • @no8thletter

What do you mean pulled the ends of the hair to stretch it? I plan on doing my own so just trying to figure out how to replicate your look.

  • really?? these basic styles!!

    ok nice i guess

  • @jem2009 hey, someone asked *shrug* if you find out some more, please share in a vid for others to see :)

  • how long did u have them in in this video because i just got mine done today and urs seem alot more flexible.

  • @Dreamscheme100 they were 2 months or so, old by this vid. mine were stiff as well, i could only pull em half up half down at first, but that stiffness should start fading by now

  • @no8thletter wow they still look new in this video but thanx!

  • Thanks was looking for a vid like this really like the french braids and bun style

  • @CinNaMonBeauty77 glad it helped a lil :)

  • i just got my senegalese twists! this video helps with styles. thanks so much!

  • Requestt...... Some Up Dos.....

  • thank you, thank you and thank you (hugs and kisses, thank you, lol)...i am transitioning from relaxer hair to natural and today got senegalese twists done. they were done a bit long for my tastes and i just did not know what to do with them and/or whether or not i was going to return to the salon and have them shortened (i do not like hair hangin' in my face, at all). but, after watching your video, i have been inspired; the styles appear to be simple in technique and are soft and feminine.

  • @jmomma2003 awwww that made my day! im glad i could help a little :)

  • you look like teyana taylor! like you both could be sisters lol

  • i must say....this is so weird....u look exactly like me. i was looking at the vid all the way through and i was .....OMG...and i just put in my senegalese twists too. i know this is random...but i had to let you know. even my friends were like...damn. lol

  • You are gorgeous!!

    Thanks for the video! =]

  • Did Your hair grow alot once you took them out?!

  • @the5223forever yes, definitely :)

  • How do you do your eyebrows because they really look defined, thick pleeasse do a tutorial for them please thanks. x

  • @chocolat80 thank you :) i don't do anything special to them, but i'll make a video asaic (as soon as i can)

  • what type of hair did you use?

  • @bellala09 i think she used kanekalon hair.

  • how long do they take to take out ?

  • @xxbOOkiexbuttx not too long, maybe 1- 1 1/2 hrs or so if i remember correctly, but i also got my homegirl to help me take some of em out. once you clip the ends they unravel pretty easily.

  • LOVEyour hair! But have a few Questions: Do you know the brand of gel/or product they used in your hair (assuming your natural) to keep your natural hair from coming out? How long did these last you?and how long did it take to complete? I just did these on my sister for the first time after seeing your vid!!!

  • @mokoroc i'm actually not natural, well, not yet anyway lol, but i'm sorry, i don't know what kind of gel they used. I kept them in for 10 weeks. It took one braider about 7 hrs to do them, with a break included in that time. I hope that helps and i hope your sister enjoys her twists :)!

  • @mokoroc they used hair jam on mine

  • i really love your hair! what hair did you use?

  • @vablili thank you! i'm sorry but i don't know what type of hair it is since i didn't do them myself. i got them done at an african braiding shop.

  • @vablili senegalese twists are usually done using 100% kankelon fibre. It is really cheap and looks great.

  • i wish you knew what hair you used. i'm getting mine done soon and i want mine pretty straight like yours, not curly.

  • iLuved this ..u look lovely ..I have recently done mine but iDone them longer ..thanks for all the styles :)

  • I just got mine done ystrday- thanks for tha tutorial

  • your hair is beautiful, what type of hair did you use?

  • honestly, i don't know what she used. i heard most people use the kanekalon hair though

  • I think it looks awesome parted on the side at like 1:20!

  • lol that's how i wore it most of the time

  • LOVE the 2 french braids ;-)

    & the simple bun!

    nice vid!
