  • Wow Beautiful :)))

  • Great mix of styles though the image is not upright Celts called the Galatians too were in ancient Anatolia.

  • nice job. sorry to say but man only an armenian can use 100% of the duduks potential

  • wow, amazing sound! always a delight to hear new instruments, does it have reeds?

  • it has a double reed

  • hey, I am also a musician, and i´m thinkin about buying a duduk :-)

My question: does anybody know, if it's really hard to learn it?

  • Double reed and half holing for alterations, is not easy, but is not one of the most difficult instruments to learn, but one of the hardest: the double reed is really big, to make vibrate that you really have to blow(almost as in a shakuhachi) .

  • be aware those who order it on internet.... there are som turkish sites that label duduk as armenian, selling cheap low quality duduks... normal proffesional armenian duduk cost about 200 -300 dollars, fake one's about $40-50

  • I guess this is the only instrument in the world loved by every single soul ... Great armenian heritage... armenians invented it for 3000 years ago, at that time most of the nation in the world didn't even exist... instrument that shows tha greatness of armenian culture and music.... those who want to by professional duduk can order it from armenia... there are a lot of web-pages...

  • how much are those ?

  • Cool.

  • Awesome!!!! A great take on the Celtic sound! My daughter has a Duduk and playing it feels like you're trying blow up a hot water bottle! Well done you! Keep em coming!

  • thnx, the duduk is an amazing instrument.. but is very dificult to find a teacher to play it properly

  • omg your house is laying on its side.

That's an interesting instrument there, I've never seen one before. Is the reed at the mouth piece like a Sax?

Keep in the playing dude, nice!

  • nope is a double reed like a oboe
