Looks like Toyota's poor attempt at a response to Hyundai's i45 ad. Toyota can't even get their spelling right in the ad description - "extreems in temperature". lol.
I bought a new Australian-made Toyota last year. It is a piece of junk, full of vibrations, squeaks and rattles. When I received the car, the bonnet, the drivers door, the drivers window, the passenger door handle, the passenger seatbelt, the centre console, and the dashboard all weren't installed properly. Toyota's propaganda about their quality and their "rigorous standards" is a pack of lies. DON'T BUY A TOYOTA!!
@kyokyo36 I test drove a demo car that the dealer had and it was fine. The one I got was a brand new car that they had in stock, but it was not the actual car that I had test-driven. I think you will find that this is the way most people buy new cars. Most of the problems with the car were not obvious at first glance, but became apparent over the first few days/weeks of driving. I think the only dumb thing I did was to buy a Toyota.
High compression, high efficiency petrol or turbo diesel is the way to go. Mazda has their head screwed on, Toyota is still misleading their customers as they always have.
Forget about hybrid and electric rubbish, the amount of emissions it takes to create the lithium batteries means they end up producing more pollution in production than a normal car would running off petrol alone throughout it's lifetime. The batteries don't come out of thin air, the pollution needed to create them is huge
@MrZacharyFisher Nazareth - Love Hurts. Brilliant song that one is :-) I love how it sounds like its being played in another room... it's a nice effect.
@redcarpetphotography What do you mean the song sounds like it's being played in another room? It's meant to sound like it's coming through speaker(s).
@Davez621 hmm not sure what you mean by "It's meant to sound like it's coming through speaker(s)". All music has to come through speakers!
Listen to the ad on some really good quality head phones. You will notice the song is not CD quality. It's kind of muffled. That muffled effect is what I was referring to :-)
@redcarpetphotography I can notice it's not CD quality on my PC speakers - they are perfect. What I mean is that it's meant to be coming through speakers in the ad itself. i.e. they have speakers playing the music in the test chamber.
it would be great if everything they did in this video was true
