triple triad is way more than just a mini game...although simple at first it has an incredible level of depth and i could just play for hours(especial with the "plus" and "elemental" rules)

it really becomes like a game of chess where you have to anticipate your opponents moves,evaluate his and your options,plan ahead and envision beforehand all the possible outcomes

Playing FF8 on the PSP right now, this is probably my favourite FF to date even though I haven't had the chance to complete it since its launch, I must say though I attempted to make my own cards a few years back but had the problem changing them to red backs, why didn't someone just upload them with red backs online? I made a headmaster Cid card to with the same stats as Edea but reversed, im glad you have achieved this, why dont you film some real time battles then? using the random rule ha ha

I have my own deck here too purely handmade, with cardboard as well... glad to know that there are also others you are very enthusiastic to play this in real life... too bad no one knows the game in my place... >.<

That's the one thing with triple triad though, card battles made sense. I can't make sense of Tetra Master's Card battles. What's with the arbitrary HP?? What is the formula behind that stuff? It would be impossible to play Tetra master as a TCG irl.

Nice work. Might have saved some time if you knew there was an actual Triple Triad collectable card game released in japan. Scans have been floating around the net for years. Here's one site with the card scans, board scans and etc.:

wow this is totally awesome, major respect for all the work you did. the cardass masters cards are nice but they are slightly changed from the ingame originals, this is as authentic as it gets. really, this is very inspiring, you must have made your friend very happy, at least you've made an ff8 fan happy :)
