I really look forward to this game. This, Mass Effect 3 and Deus Ex are possibly the top three games on my most wanted list. I really like how the game has changed, they've made it a game based on evolution. Evolution of the character, story, you watch everything evolve over time based on your choices. You don't see many games like this. Mass Effect 2 had some things that popped in and out but nothing major. I feel as though this will nail everything I'm wanting. It'll also pave way for ME3. YAY

I wasn't on the demo itself, but the devs have confirmed the following on their forums:
"There are 32 hairstyles for female hawke (including the bald option), 36 for male hawke (the same number of unique models, but there are a couple more variations of peach fuzz texturing including male pattern baldness which makes no sense to have for females) and 17 beards."

@Amycus89 I know. But the point is how that is implemented. For one, the |mirrored versions of the hair are included as different hairstyles. Secondly, most of hairstyles are pretty much similar things and no matter which one you select, he will still look similar (just like all the "models" look simialr to each other with few minor changes). Its impossible to create character ENTIRELY different from the amish farmer guy that is the "canon" version of the hawke. Same with beards.

It's a Demo after all to a uncompleted game, that doesn't include eveything they will be bringing in and actually yes you can have a African Hawke. It was confirmed by those working on the game and that your brother and sister will look like Hawke as well. I haven't heard any of the creators of the game state yet however that the quests are going to be a linear.
I was taking "black Hawke" as an example.. The customization is way more limited than in DA:O. basically you have no sliders for face and body parts. You have choices and thats all.

@czougista The female developer was talking about romance in the video. She said one of them would be "Girl-next-door" type of romance (while showing the picture of Merill too, in fact) and "crazy up against the wall" type, while showing Isabella and Hawke doing it.
I don't give a shit about the lore, NEVER did! I always cared about the character and the characters it accompanied! Well, I can take some solace that they're going to kill off hawke..
I say this cause they're hinting with varric, because Varric wouldn't be telling the story unless something bad happened to hawke..

- Skill system stripped down. You won't have more than 10 skill sand its even less for companions.
- NO isometrical view or tactics system(instead we have "defend" and "attack" stance stuff).
- You and companions have separate armor types(companion armor and character armor), with companions having WAY LESS equip slots.
- companions can auto-levelup.
- char customization is way more limited than in DA:O(ex: you can't have black hawke)

4. some how manage to get the hot chick even though I'm usually a ass to everyone
5. go through some epic final battle and then be praised even though at this point everyone in the game will hate me

@czougista The female developer was talking about romance in the video. She said one of them would be "Girl-next-door" type of romance (while showing the picture of Merill too, in fact) and "crazy up against the wall" type, while showing Isabella and Hawke doing it.

I don't give a shit about the lore, NEVER did! I always cared about the character and the characters it accompanied! Well, I can take some solace that they're going to kill off hawke..
I say this cause they're hinting with varric, because Varric wouldn't be telling the story unless something bad happened to hawke..

@CampRocker100 They haven't reveal anything more than Isabella so far, so we can only guess about what likely to happened. If i not were wrong Isabella romanceable for female Hawke(bisexual) as well. I get the feeling Fenris(elf), Sebastian(DLC character) are romanceable for female Hawke(straight female) since there's a lot of fangirl crazy over both character. BioWare always listen to their fan.
