Odd thing, it wasn't really that calm - the swell was quite large, but the wide angle lens flattens it out. If you look at the 3 minute mark or so, you can see the waves crashing on the rocks. The swell was probably 6-10 feet, which made the rocks a bit of a hazard. Of course, by Cape Scott standards, that is calm, I suppose! Or at least it wasn't windy.
Thumbs up if you were waiting for a pirate ghost ship to emerge from the fog. Arrr!
