Hi, how do you count a full circle? Thaat was one and a half (480°). 3 Circles would be 1080°! In my opinion this engine has no power as of this Video. It needs seconds to rev up. My engine does this in milliseconds.

i swear i could never find out the tuning settings for the carb! i even thought it was broken! any ever so slight tuning and it roared away with itself! what was even more baffling was id turn it one way and it would roar! then id turn it the other after 20 seconds of listening to the thing trying to kill itself on the block and it would roar even louder!

I just got a acme condor pro plus and without your help I would of thrown it in the bin. It took a while even to start, but now it's starts good and I think it's running ok.

Ps the don't touch sticker on the low end is in the bin.

@alishanmao I have a question about my HSP car. its smaller than your T-rex but by the same brand. It is a 1/16 scale Kingliness and the bell gear kept slipping. Nothing was stripped but wasnt meshing with the other gear. I disectited it and replaced a ball bearing with a washer. Then I find out there was no ball bearing in it then took out the washer, started but did the same thing. WHAT DO I DO!!!!

I have the 18 infinity engine which if set up correct runs with no problems. Have you seen the Team Infinity 21 small block which drops stright into a 1/10 scale. I`ve just got one and it looks like it going to fun!

Thanks fella - just got an acme condor pro and struggled starting it but followed this and much better :-) everyone ignore the warning about the low idle sticker - mine was covered and said do not touch but after removal and tweaking as said above mine started and ran much better.... good stuff Alishanmao :-)  many thanks.....

@alishanmao, maybe :0) the thing is this is the ''starter' can in almost all model shops in the UK! so unfortunately most UK people this car & engine will be their first impression of rc nitro powered cars. I have the patients and overall modelling experience to try and fix these problems where as others will probably just give up or carry on until it breaks. If they are as bad as everyone says then they shouldn't be allowed to sell them no matter how cheap!

Hi Ali, the 'team infinity' engine may be powerful but after running mine in I couldn't tune it and like you said easily overheat! I looked for air leaks and found after about 7 tanks that my engine backplate, carb mount, fuel tank & front bearing all had air leeks! So if you buy one take it out of car and check for air leeks first!

@kayagecee if its ACME car with team infinity engine then you have wasted your money. these engines and cars are crap only. Anyway, check your glow plug, make sure you prime engine right, not flood it, these shitty team infinity engine flood soon and get lean soon with over heating problems too.

this is the problems ive been having with my rc nitro rampage car is i think its called a receiver box. its a black box with a ariel coming off the end and it has three ports for three wires to go in it. so i snapped the ariel off it and i taped it up and it done rubbish losing signal all the time so i changed it and put my condor receiver in it would it be ok it seems to be working fine and i changed the Crystal in it so i can use acme remote and it all seems ok is it ok to use thanks.

When i start my engine it idles good but when i press the throttle it revs up far too high and doesn't come back down, when i pull back on the brake it brings the engine back to idle speed but as soon as i touch the throttle it is out of control again... any ideas?

@suprac19 Seems like the spring that brings the carb back is broken or malfunctioning. Another reason could be the carb is being stuck due to old oil, dirt or sand particles in there. Take the carb out and take everything apart and wash with nitro or WD40, put it back. or see if you could find bad spring and fix it.

Check again. fuel must flow to the carb and inside the engine in order to get engine started. Prime engine right, not flood it. check glow plug and glow igniter

take the string out of the handle. put a piece of fuel tube there now put the string back in the handle you can get the tension back :)

seems your engine is flooding, Check carb tuning settings and carb opening gap. and try again

Fill tank with gas. Put full throttle on transmitter and pickup and drop the car down a few times. then pull starter cord ONCE slowly so it only just turns over It is now primed. now Pull fast if it does not start within 20 pulls check spark plugs and fuel switch also check fuel filter if it has one or if it has a choke open that up. Their should be visible blue smoke. Lots of smoke means you are running your engine too rich :)
