i liked when they configured the track to a flat oval, instead of the rectangle track. I wouldnt like it if they kept it as the last race and kept it flat. But I guess the banking is good for the last race (remnants of the old atlanta as the last race).
Good eyes. I guess Toyota has been in nascar since 96! But it looked like someones street car... not a pacecar with flashy paint and stickers like they usually are.
it looked pretty cool as a rectangle but not so much as a flat oval but it's great with the way it is now.

I'll tell you those cars need some Band-Aids now, as Band Aid would be Dale's sponsor in the next year.

I remember watching this! I was rooting for Wallace and my brother was rooting for Jarrett. It was a good battle they had going.

Geoff Bodine was one of the commentators, along with Ken Squier and Ned Jarrett. I agree with them that Pearson caused the wreck.

IIRC I was rooting for Kenny Wallace in that race. It was dissapointing to see them all crash. My brother was rooting for Jarrett in that race.

This layout sounds more exciting than the current one.

Most dangerous too...John Nemechek was killed here because of the tight turns in 1997.
franticfury 4 years ago
It was Kenny Wallace that almost went over.

No, It Said That Hermie Sadler Amost Went Over!
CatGoldie 4 years ago
Yes, but that is incorrect. Kenny Wallace is the one that gets airborne for sure.

Uh Uh

At 1:16 you can see Kenny Wallace get out of the car that got high in the air. The commentators say that it's him too.
