I love Kutless because every version they do of a worship song is, hands down, the best version of that song. They'll take something like this Petra song, or something by Matt Redman or Hillsong and do it in such an awesome way. Powerful song. Try to imagine a working of the universe that exist and affect us REGARDLESS of our awareness. So the trick is to be aware and make decisions according to this greater access to knowledge.
That's where the knowledge of hell (AND heaven) comes in. If you are in possession of this knowledge: that after death you go either to heaven or to hell - what are the decisions you can make now to ensure your entry into either place.

Assume that you have a choice of 2 Universities after graduation from High School. Each University has different entry criteria. One specialises in Arts and the other Science. Obviously you will streamline your High School creds to appeal to the University of choice, right? Can you tell the Universities, "Why don't you give me a chance after I graduate from High School?"
To answer another question you have about "free passes".
Actually, NO ONE has a free pass. We are all measured one way or another. If you have knowledge of God. A soul is judged by that framework. Without that knowledge, without that framework.
However, that framework without does not excuse one from an acknowledgement of the existence of a Creator and that He has opinions on what is acceptable or otherwise. That's where our conscience comes into operation to "define" the "right/ wrong".

What do I mean by conscience leading those without Christ in, assuming conscience is defined as an innate compass indicating what is acceptable/ unacceptable to the Creator, following the framework that the Creator exist, even without awareness of a person.
Coz the conscience is capable of judging the information given to the person, whether the information aligns to the opinion of the Creator.
But it's a catch 22 situation, coz it depends on a precondition...

This is my beef with how Catholicism is practiced. Jesus tore the holy veil to be our intercessor to God the Father. He is our way, and the practice of praying to Mary, the Saints, and confession to a priest puts up an unnecessary separation from God.

Yes, it made it easier for those who accepted Him and His Grace to accept it as truth but what about the Pharisees and even the other Jews and Gentiles who mocked Him and ultimately crucified Him? These people were personally witness to His miracles and still chose not to believe. The choice is ultimately ours to make. That's why faith is so huge for us.

Try to imagine a working of the universe that exist and affect us REGARDLESS of our awareness. So the trick is to be aware and make decisions according to this greater access to knowledge.
That's where the knowledge of hell (AND heaven) comes in. If you are in possession of this knowledge: that after death you go either to heaven or to hell - what are the decisions you can make now to ensure your entry into either place.

To answer another question you have about "free passes".
Actually, NO ONE has a free pass. We are all measured one way or another. If you have knowledge of God. A soul is judged by that framework. Without that knowledge, without that framework.
However, that framework without does not excuse one from an acknowledgement of the existence of a Creator and that He has opinions on what is acceptable or otherwise. That's where our conscience comes into operation to "define" the "right/ wrong".

The thing about the 'witness' of Christ is that they are supposed to be the copies of Christ. Why Christ came down on earth, he claims himself as the copy of God. So, see Jesus = see God.
Supposedly, Jesus seeded Himself in every believer hereafter. So in theory, see 'witness/ believer' = see Jesus.
Unfortunately... we tend to mess up the latter part. Sorry about that...

What do I mean by conscience leading those without Christ in, assuming conscience is defined as an innate compass indicating what is acceptable/ unacceptable to the Creator, following the framework that the Creator exist, even without awareness of a person.
Coz the conscience is capable of judging the information given to the person, whether the information aligns to the opinion of the Creator.

@irurouni well, i have witnessed several people in deep faith of several religions, and i have also witnessed people believing in things that i have discovered to be false or misleading (not christianity here but other things). So witnessing people show their feelings for one supreme being or idea of such that just doesnt do it for me, it just proves how they feel about the subject. and we know how emotional we are. so feeling a certain way about something doesnt prove that something to be true

A) God allowed and approved of the insane laws in exodus or the book of deuteronomy by enforcing them thru moses (if i have it correct)
or
B) Men wrote this themselves according to their times without god

And I have seen people sacrifice lives for stuff that isn't all that great.
Take the Greaks, mainly Spartans, for example, (Not sure if all of it is true), risked a lot of lives for one woman. Maybe there was another reason, but it probably wasn't all that great of one.
War is supposed to happen, death is supposed to happen, deal with it.

So He could come tomorrow or in 500 years! And I am 100% percent sure that the true God would not "talk" to you while under the influence of LCD. God only talks to those who have a very close relationship with Him and spend time with Him, and most of the time His voice is subtle.

@pierre777able The Holy of Holies is not a uterus. You don't need a uterus to go to God. And having sex does not cleanse you from sin or give you union with the Father, or Jesus would have said so. The song is suggestive and ambiguous. It is a cry for purity and righteousness, not for a uterus. Innocents are slaughtered outside the uterus too. They may not die physically, but their innocence is stolen, perhaps by someone trying to enter unauthorized into what they think is the Holy of Holies.

If your going to sing about GOD at least do it in a much more cheerful way. Christianity has a odd way of making you feel so down and out, almost as if there is nothing else but God. You have a life, dont waste it on music like this.

Faith is simple. And music like this is worship music. I'm sure you wouldn't understand something like that though. You're loss. I love this song and it's one of my favorites. Just a side note - music is more than meter, more than rhythem, more than the instruments that make it up, more than the words. Music is meaning, and to each person his own meaning - so don't put down what someone else might hold in high regard, or next time they'll put down what you hold in high regard.

The reason you get that feeling of connection is because its your own music... its nothing strange, it happens with all music based on the beats per minute, your own mood and actually brain wave frequency modulation and heartbeat. That is the connection

If you think faith is simple, you're ignorant. You have to understand 3/4 of music like this is written because all you bible thumpers give them ratings, and buy their music, so its the easiest way for an artist with NO SKILL to make money. No complexity whatsoever. they might as well write poems or rap about GOD.
