very curious bout your mic setup. Straight to the computer or thru a mixer? What program do you use to mix the parts or just get a balance and try to stay level?

Thanks again! The mic set up here is a Rode NT1A on the vocals, and an MXL990S by the guitar (not the best choice). I'm still trying to get a good mic'd sound from this guitar, I just bought it so it's still opening up. It's all going straight to a Lexicon Lambda interface, then into the Mac. Then mastered in Garageband. Its all done live, so unfortunately I can't mix the levels after the fact.

I listened to a lot of Croce during a very painful time in my life. Your version brought back the few moments of piece I felt in Jim's music. As hard as that time was, songs like this still hold a special place for me, so thanks for the performance.
