  • I really dislike Daniel Radcliffe, plus he's too young to have a proper opinion about Fry and Laurie. He's as old as me and I only discoved Fry and Laurie and began watching Jeeves and Wooster along with their sketches on youtube a year ago.

  • Their voices resonate in the same way. It's weird.

  • Remind me of Mitchell and WEbb

  • I LOVE THEM BOTH

  • Can't believe that yesterday I didn't know this existed... Frankly I don't think there is even a point of doing anything ever again now that I have seen it. Best 90minutes of my life

  • PURE GOLD.

  • The few dislikes must be women just finding out that Fry is a homosexual gentleman.

  • @hoobajoo i am a woman and couldn't give a flying feck that Stephen fry is gay . he is fantastic . as is Hugh Laurie .

  • Stephen wasn't wearing his seatbelt! Give him a ticket!!!!1!!!I!!!I!!!!1!!

  • hahahaha I love Daniel Radcliffe is branded as just a FAN

  • @yeachanpark

Well, his fame does pale a bit when confronted with the tremendous achievements of these two.

  • I LOVE the way they call each other M'Colleague <3

  • He does his American accent I love it

  • Loved the six episodes of fortysomething it was funny

  • 4:25 Always wear that jacket, Stephen, always.

  • I think I'm in love with the little sound Hugh made in the car right when he saw Steven...

    EEEHHH.

  • To the writers and producers of House,

Please, before the show ends, create a role for Stephen Fry on it.

  • 50% of people would like Stephen to live next to them, the other 50% would like Hugh to live next to them.

Well, personally, I have two next doors, one can live one side the other the other side! Now that would be perfection!

  • they are both so adorable. There are no two greater people.

  • @IlRezzonico May I interrupt? I hate to, but may I may I? Clearly, A Bit of Fry and Laurie was too sophisticated for your taste. No other reason not to notice the greatness that clearly exists around every twist and turn of that show.

  • @IlRezzonico You are entitled to your opinion, but have you read their books? Writing that well is not lame.

  • @IlRezzonico Gotta love any show that's basically a 75 minute intro. Plus fun jazz soundtrack!

  • When they saw each other and the smile :D

  • what movie/TV show is 4:56 from??

  • @nikiforos6 "a bit of fry and laurie" it's one of the sketches

  • @maxsil89 thanks :)

  • I feel like after they say "90 minutes in the company of Stepehn Fry and Hugh Laurie" they should follow it with "you're welcome"

  • 9 minutes to get to the actual start of the show? Are they taking the piss?

  • @tiddlypom I assumed the whole intro was taking the piss?

  • Laurie looks like Hitler

  • i love them both

  • 1:20 More Matt Smith than Stephen Fry. :)

  • @bedofrazorsqwerty Oh my god you are right... and I have seen that at various different angles but never as much as here. Woah.

  • so stephen fry is gay?

  • @baronmaul ... yes?

  • America is ruining Hugh :(

  • @TheCTadventures

...But we love him for it. =D

  • I bet the 5 people that disliked this were Americans that don't understand our humour :L

  • 0:53 - There's that American accent seeping through.

  • @Wrathmont313 His natural accent is british, He would have to do an american accent on purpose.

  • @FlashLightButton

I'm amply aware of that. In doing House, Hugh Laurie has stated that since he's started, he's started to lose his English accent and sometimes finds himself doing an American one. That's what I meant.

  • this is the third time i watched this... was too young to appreciate their humor in the 80's... now I do... hilarious and both nice guys in "real life". And Stephen is a genius.

  • bald spot!

    that is all.

  • ~ 14:20

Hugh's dad looks a bit like Stephen... O.o

  • I LOVE THEM ENDLESSLY.

  • Now i know this is a long shot, but does anyone know what that piece of music over the hong kong police montage is?

  • @70sgunman It's 'Hong Kong Beat'. The theme to the 1970s BBC series of the same name.

  • I wish there was a 4-thumbs-up button (so I could include my feet). Thanks for posting.

  • What an irritating format.

  • Daniel Radcliffe - Fan. I lol'ed so hard

  • Naw when Hugh saw Stephen he looked so happy!

  • I love it. A special on two cool guys hanging out

  • Laurie dressed like that, all I see is Dr. House. XD

  • Mr Fry and Mr Laurie? Should really be Sir Fry and Sir Laurie. Queen, please fix this.

  • @LaustinSpayce I think you mean "Sir Stephen and Sir Hugh". That's how those work.

  • @LaustinSpayce will you believe today i was just thinking about the exact same thing!

  • @LaustinSpayce Sadly knighthoods do not work that way. It would be Sir Stephen and Sir Hugh if anything.

  • Is there any chance to find British subtitles for this show?

  • who disliked this!? what on earth is there to dislike about this?

  • @perry0547 Hugh shaved for the show. That's the only thing I can think of.

  • @perry0547 the commentator??^^

  • @perry0547 No doubt, some blithering twat.

  • @perry0547 they were probably jealous of both of these brilliant men

  • @qlassoniongirl64

    stehpen also on 0:33

  • what is the intrumental music? is it bethoven?

  • @zoyataylor If you mean the bit at the introduction, around 01:31, I think it's Don Giovani by Mozart.

  • @lauralemony i mean the very beginning , the orchestra and the picture of cherry blossom :)

sadly , i found this Don Giovani by Mozart only as Maria Class performance... no instrumental music exactly.

but thank you for the reply anyway!

  • 6:15 he's right about the work ethic thing in america. went to france and was so fucking shocked at their pace of life... and jealous

  • fantastic quality of vid. thank u!

  • I still see Hugh Laurie as the fella out of 101 Dalmations

  • I'm glad that these two wonderful people found each other and i'm glad that i knew them while they are still alive and among us!

  • I got all teary eyed when Stephen tells about how he got accepted at cambridge

  • I've already watched this three times, it doesn't get old :) <3

  • When they meet, Hugh opens the door one side, but when it cuts to the outside shot he's coming out of the car from the other

  • I love how Hugh's face lights up when he sees Stephen ;)

    Bless them...they're so adorable!

  • Anyone else been deliberately ignoring this House programme in order to continue seeing Hugh as a British comedian? I admit that I have!

  • @boychildnew1 I do ! I do ! I've never seen a single episode of that hospital thing, cause for me, Hugh is not House :-) He's Stephen's Hugh !

  • @boychildnew1 I did at first, but it really would be a shame not to acknowledge all the awesomeness these two have to offer. Wich for Laurie includes some very good acting, really.

  • @boychildnew1 definately.... not that i dont think it might be very good but i cant see him as any other than the prince fellow in blackadder.... im Danish btw (dunno why i said that).........

  • @stinelinda thanks guys and gals (or should that be 'lads and lassies'?). I just cant stand watching Hugh making an American accent for hours on end! Im very interested in the various things that Stephen has been doing (excellent stuff!) But this House programme, I dont want to support - its got half the world loving it already. It doesnt need me. I would rather watch him sing 'Mystery' or talking about his amazing trousers!

  • I feel on the edge of crying like during the whole video.....and so much love <3

  • I really want to watch with subtitles in Portuguese, please someone do this charity.

  • what an easy life these 2 have had

  • @bensimps123 Really?! I'm can't tell if you're being serious or not but Stephen's childhood was very troubling with his school expulsions, bipolar disorder, suicide attempt, prison sentence etc.

  • @crazypianolady i mean in the respect that there both from well off family's etc etc

  • @crazypianolady I suppose so, especially when going to Cambridge put Fry on the right path. There are problems in well off families too as you often find the kids are spolit or that they get no love from their parents who have no time for them and just throw money/presents at them (my friend's 7/8 yr old nephews get their iPads out to occupy them in a restaurant!). I've seen both sides of it really, altho I wish I was on the rich side though!)

  • @bensimps123

    They've NOT had easy lives...

  • I love this. I am so happy that Stephen and Hugh are held in such high regard in England. They are trully brilliant. I am also happy that Daniel Radcliffe and Ben Miller love them too.

  • @jkmoomoo I think this was either made last year or 2009.

  • Oh boy!! Just discovered this!! Made a new playlist - simply adore both of them! Watched House with regularity when it was on our "cable" here in SA. Discovered QI two weeks ago, watched it daily!! Stephen is magnificent in that series!! Am quite sure that I will enjoy this one just as much!! Dear heaven - just love British humour!!! Always with straight faces - until they cave in to the humour of course!!!

  • I didn't know that Fry was even gay!

  • @inforockstar Same I only found out when I saw his input on Intelligence Squared for an argument.

  • @inforockstar ???? really???

  • BMWBMWBMW

  • @lickstickly

I agree with you 100%. Before I started watching 'House', I had heard of Fry and Laurie but wasn't familiar with their actual work. Now, I am a big-time fan, and have seen all of 'A Bit of..' and 'Jeeves and Wooster' on DVD, (courtesy of my local library).

I think Fry should join the cast of 'House' as Cuddy's replacement, and House could bring him coffee and engage in inapproppriately polite conversations.

  • At the start it says its their first time on tv together in 15 years but Hugh laurie was on the 1st season of QI

  • As someone who admires Stephen greatly, it bothers me that he hasn't become nearly as huge in the U.S. as Hugh has. Stephen deserves to star as a brilliant character in a show in America.

  • @peaceandmetal88 let it go bud, Stephen could be a big star in the U.S, when he was in 'Bones' they were so impressed with him that they asked him to stay on but alas he couldnt due to his other commitments, i like to think that due to Hugh's fame in America and the advent of sites like youtube that a lot of Hugh's 'House' fans are now discovering Stephen as well, can any Americans watching this back my theory up?

  • @lickstickly I'm Canadian so close enough? although i remember Stephen appearing on shows or whatnot on the comedy channel when i was really young lol hell i could have been watching fry and laurie for all i know i dont remember much of it but i did know who fry was! I had actually never heard of Hugh untill House came along

  • Why is it that the British like to call their successful actors "national treasures"? Have you ever heard an American calling Brad Pitt a national treasure.

  • @mygaffer That's because he's not a national treasure, he's just eye candy, not a good actor or intellligent man!

  • @Eamesam Which is a fitting match to the American character and why, if Americans said such things, he would be called a national treasure in the states.

  • @mygaffer It doesn't necessarily rasp my attention.

  • @Eamesam Are you kidding me? Rasp your attention?

  • @mygaffer Because they are not just "successful actors".

  • @shinningneverwhy BS, how many other comedic actors coming out of the UK have had more success? Maybe a small handful. So lets not pretend they are given so much attention b/c they haven't been successful. They were funny, they were a success, so they get lots of attention and in the UK at least get called a "national treasure".

  • What is the music at 13:30?

  • LEGO Universe music! :D

Thumbs up if you recognised it!

  • I love these men.

  • as wonderful as this is, the first 10 minutes is basically them telling us what is coming up later...

  • I think Fry stole some of Hugh's hair ;D

  • I would like to have Hugh and Stephen live in my house. =D

  • I love that they still refer to each other as m'colleague.

  • Was not Hugh Laurie on QI before this?

  • @caledfwlch

    Nope.

  • where's mr blackadder T____T

  • I hate to do this, but does anyone know what the piece of music at the very beginning is?

  • can't belive they still do the m'colleague thing. that's serious dedication to an in-joke. if you pardon the pun.

  • @makerofjam what pun?

  • @tokiohotelre wasn't there one? Oh I'm sorry...

  • omg this is great!!

  • In the words of Diana Rigg, "Go away, Daniel."

  • I could watch Stephen Fry moonwalking all day.

  • I love the way Hugh's face just lights up when he sees Stephen through the car window.

  • Its guy Love... between 2 guys !

  • @UncensoredX, sounds weird when said like that. isn't this just archetypical bromance?

  • It'll be totally epic if Stephen Fry makes an appearance on House! :D

  • aww - at 7:56 hugh says "m'colleague"!! :')

  • 00:54 House is sneaking up on Hugh! the american accent is slowly taking itself into hugh's body!

  • I'd love to see Fry on an episode or two of House

  • Yes the continuity is lacking as he gets out of the car. They clearly had to do extra takes maybe it was an excuse for extra hugs lol. Hugh's love for Stephen is clear to see as his eyes light up when he looks through the window. Meh! I've loved them since 1985!

  • WTF Hugh looks like he's getting out of the BMW from the left in one shot and ends up getting out from the right at 7:50 xD

Well anyway, that whole scene was very endearing. Hugh's YEH was cute. :D BEST BROMANCE EVER. I probably enjoyed watching this more than I should have. It was conforting somehow. :]

  • David Radcliffe - "fan" lol

  • How did g.o.l.d find the funds to commission this

  • @MechoMadness I agree, I think a lot of Whitehouse's stuff is terrible

  • Paul Whitehouse: "They didn't inspire us... at all".

Clearly, because 'The Fast Show' is deeply, deeply unfunny.

  • ego stroking and nauseating, a subtely overwhelming blend

  • He wanted to ruin the Olympics?

He think he said row in the but I swear it sounds like he wanted to ruin it.

  • @awreckingball Yes he is, he is one of the first to admit this in his book, yet there is something so endearing about him

  • This is officially the best thing I have EVER SEEEEEEEEN.

You think I'm kidding. But I'm not.

  • I love how, even after all these years, they call each other "m' colleague".

  • Love Stephen's story about getting into university. He made me tear up at 13:00, too!

  • I love Hugh's smile when he sees Stephen and the little "yeah" he gives. He then practically jumps out of the car before it has completely stopped moving. lol Stephen's bear hug is so sweet, and when he says welcome to Hugh he sounds so emotional. He almost engulfs Hugh with the hug. I love their friendship.

  • They are both Brilliant with a capital 'B'.

  • So nice to see these two re-united!

  • stephen fry is the only person who does not look like a douche when using apple products.

  • I didn't know what to do tonight. I have an exam to prepare for tomorrow but I was thinking : "Hum (Yes I'm french) I haven't seen a House ep for 2 weeks, I miss this awesome Hugh. What could I watch then ?"Here I am ! Screw my exam !!

  • This show won an award at the RTS Awards a few weeks ago - how cool is that?

  • so many great comedy duo out there, so little time to watch them all!

  • LOL! You can feel the love and affection behind Hugh's "Yeeeeah" at 7:48.

  • Hugh is a HOTTIE!!!

  • <3

  • And by 90 minutes, narrator lady, you of course mean about 68 minutes.

    Gotta get those adverts in!

  • Why am I only learning of this now!? *sigh* it does not matter, I can see it, I can see it.

  • I wish Stephen Fry was my uncle. He's so awesome.

  • That's my wife doing their make-up!!

  • freaking cool man!!

love Hugh Laurie he is great!!!

    thanks!

  • freaking cool man!!

    thanks!
