here is the solution:
go to terminal and copy and paste the following and enter, but make sure you quit dictionary before you start doing this.. so you go to this
defaults write com.apple.Dictionary ProhibitNewWindowForRequest -bool TRUE
then it should be working, coz i tried it and its working

ok, we know there is a problem, and you present it in your video, i thought there is a solution at the end of the video, so i give you one star...
I hate when this happens. Pages 09 is affect by another dictionary bug too. look up a work in pages and the dictionary will pop up with blank page and all of you previous look ups too.

I have noticed this too. They only pop up if you close them with cmd+Q. If you close them with cmd+W that doesn't happen.
Have you filed a bug report to Apple about this?

No, I only post it at the apple discussion / forum site. Any other way to file a bug report?
