Very easily the heat from the fires caused the steel to be weakened to a point where it could no longer support the immense weight of the floors above it, causing the burning floors to buckle, and collapse, the weight then all fell suddenly upon the floors below collapsing them, and so on, and so forth in a chain reaction, that's why it seems to speed up. The debris then fell on to 7 World Trade Center causing fires there, and the same thing repeated itself.

KNOWN procedure is SIMPLE(And, it is the same in every country with an air force and radar control) - Establish contact(Radio/ then visual in an interception) and down the craft in an emergency landing for checkup, if failed - BRING THE AIRCRAFT DOWN BY LIVE FIRE.

Also I think if you have many bodies in a furnace at one time it would reduce the time. Plus they were reportedly very skinny for lack of food. Very easily the heat from the fires caused the steel to be weakened to a point where it could no longer support the immense weight of the floors above it, causing the burning floors to buckle, and collapse, the weight then all fell suddenly upon the floors below collapsing them, and so on, and so forth in a chain reaction, that's why it seems to speed up. The debris then fell on to 7 World Trade Center causing fires there, and the same thing repeated itself.
