I know this may sound kind of silly, but how do you make an object that will act as the ground for other objects in cre8or?

I think the flashing spikes may be a texture glitch. Specular issues?

And the hovercraft looks alot like a car. But, while its easy to tell in the gameplay part of the video, my stupid self thought the 'wheels' of the 'car' were glitching through the floor!

@Kijiriko Yeah i believe it was a spectacular glitch, though i hadn't encountered it before. I modified an old car model of mine to look sort of like a hovercar so i can understand why :P

I'd really like to re-imagine this game now that im working with unity. It could be a lot of fun :)

@Kijiriko Unity is other game creation software. There are videos of it on youtube if you search for it. It is much more powerful than cre8or, but harder to use.

well i have the prgrams but when i create a model from anim8or and save it then trying putting it on cre8or it just doesn't work is it possible i have the older version or need to update i'm really confused about what to do i mean a little error message comes up when i try importing my assigned model i also followed the tutorial whats wrong?

Depends on what error comes up. It shouldn't matter what version you are using. Are you running XP?

It is very simple. Save your anim8or project file, open cre8or, click on the icon up the top which looks like a folder behind the robin, navigate to your anim8or file and you're done! If you have trouble with this or any other issues, please post a topic in the cre8or forum.

No probs! This is a lame display of what cre8or can do now but it still shows some fundamental aspects of what can be easily acomplished.

Try a tutorial or two. It really doesn't take long to get used to. Btw did you get 0.12b or 0.13 beta? Cause 0.13 beta is not yet ready for a proper release so yes it is very confusing. Try 0.12b from the actual website i.e. not the forums.

If you check out my Cre8or Showcase Reel/Introduction video you'll see some video games being made by me and a few others in the cre8or community. I'm also making a FPS so yeah it can be done.

The program features pretty general functionality at this point so the type of games you can make will be more based on your ingenuity more than the ability of the program.

It is about to take a leap in functionality so much more advanced gameplay will be easier to produce. Enjoy!

The new game is with an actual car and it is more of an explorer game... I may put a racing bit in as well. It took me ages to figure out how to make the car physics work!
