Ok, you get wishes, like "Cook a meal" or "Join Music Career", right? Well, during pregnancy you should get one that says either "Have a Boy" or "Have a Girl"

Promise this wish, then once she comes out of hospital after giving birth, if the wish fades, and music plays then you've granted it. So, if you had the wish "Have a Boy" and the wish disappeared and music played after she gave birth, it's a boy, but if the wish was still there, it's a girl!

@KleptoCosplayer xbox version is deffinitely better. i have a wii and sims 3 for it and my brother has an xbox and sims 3 for his. I get jealous of him because he has a way better version. >.> the graphics are better, the people have more clothes to choose from to wear. In the wii once you choose your characters outfits you can never change the outfit again. (stupid, right?) the babies are actually toddlers in the xbox and lots more reasons why his is better. go for xbox version :D

when i waz playing the sims 3 on the wii, well i made this dude and he got married to this girl, well i made them woohoo and before they did it he waz cookin somthing and he had to go to work so i quit his job, well a fire has started he came out to get it but it got bigger, and he caught on fire, he went back to the bed, and tht waz on fire, so his wife caught on fire, then they put there hands in the air and they ran, it waz soo funny, now when they die, a puff of smoke comes and crossbones :)

Go to the food shop and buy a level 3 catfish (for $9). Once you have done that put it in your fridge and speed forward time. After about 20 seconds take it out again and sell it back to the store. It will now sell for like $17,000 :) Hope this helps :D

I noticed the sims have a short life span so I looked up how to live longer on the wii and all I could find was to make ambrosia, which is supposed to reset your sim to the begining of their aging stage. I maxed out my cooking and fishing skills, bought the ambrosia recipe (12,000 simoleons), read it, caught a 3 star deathfish at the graveyard, and bought a 3 star lifefruit at the supermarket. Then I told my sim to make it. She cooked it, ate it, and her age did not reset. So I made it again
