Googoosh was a good entertainer but not a good singer actually; the songs are great but could be even greater if they were song with a good voice.

i understand your idea but i dont think googoosh tries do act like a teenager. she doesnt wear anything too revealing or provocative. she does what works. thats what i like about her she can be classy yet tasteful. ive never seen googoosh try to act too young she just doesnt want to behave like an old woman either. look at tina turner who ACTUALLY IS 70 and she wears thigh high dresses and looks damn good doing it i guess its a matter of what you can pull of.

Actually, your FALSE view is the view many people had in the 70s. That Googoosh was/is a good entertainer but does not have a great voice and it was her songs that were beautiful. However, for 21 years we heard other people sing and record her songs and we realized her songs are nice -- but that it was Googoosh's voice and interpretation that made them unique. Just listen to her live performance of Kavir and Morbad!
