He's done the hard part--he memorized the whole sonata. It won't be long until he grows with feeling and interpretation. Already he loves it. Good for him!!!!!!

Impressive for his age, but he should focus more on how to make the piano sing. This is a piece w/ a huge rage of emotion, getting the dynamics right is key to play this well. Listen to how Horowitz did it. Not with ambitions to do just as fantastic, but to use as an example.

Great performance, but tbh kids shouldn't be playing this piece at such a young age. He needs to learn to play more than just the notes.

he is young. putting feeling into the music will ocme with age. he's only 6 after all. I play piano too and I can say that you have to start out playing the notes and the feeling of the music comes later. I think this young man could be a world famous pianist some day. are there any other videos of him playing piano?
