  • WIPON ZA MA TENDWAISSEUUUH

  • like if your still listening in 2012 and loving them

  • Muse...I belong to you

  • «Mon coeur s'ouvre à toi» means «My heart opens to your voice».

  • Someone look up Babylong No Oka - Joe Hisaishi. I Belong to You is an almost exact copy and Hisaishi wrote his first.

  • @Qu1rkyF0x Yeah it's called a Remake, they had to have premission first.. Or obviously they wouldn't have made it. But good song

  • like if you still listen to in 2012:)

  • can't...stop...listening to this...

  • The part in French is my favorite part! So beautiful!

  • Saddest part is that I've been listening to the Twilight version the whole time thinking that was the original. I never knew this existed. This is so much better and the French is beautiful.

  • @RenXmajestic It's cute when a human thinks they know when the world will end.

  • Matt was born to sing.

  • Reponds a ma tendresse.

    Respond to my tenderness.

    <3

  • more than beautiful...

  • such a beautiful song...

  • I love how I suddenly fell in love with Muse and Im dying to see them live and then I find out that they came to New York 2 months ago!!!! -_- *sigh* :'(

  • @Evenbury they're working on a new album as we speak, so expect a tour in 2013. you'll get your chance, and so will i. :)

  • jesus muse is just the heartbeat of my life!

  • Why do they let Twilight abuse such good music? Keep it to yourselves, Muse. I mean there's nothing wrong with Twilight, but this music is TOO GOOD to just...Gah, never mind. Anyone agree???

  • @synysterjazmyngates Nope xD I think muse' music is so perfect for the Twilight saga, and I think their music makes it better :D

  • Twilight is a bad movie, but they use nice music like this and other good music that they used in them

  • I don't care what anyone says, I decided this is my favorite song ever. EVER.

  • this is so frances song from Hetalia anyone agree?

  • @whitewingwish so tue... however, I this song also belongs to Sanji from One Piece :D

  • This is "our song" :)

  • comon guys! dont just put a few words from a foreign language into google translate and think its 100% correct!! does "pour me drunk" really make much sense? the muse wiki has the translation right there:

Mon Cœur S'ouvre à Ta Voix-My heart opens itself to your voice

    Ah! Réponds,-Ah! Respond,

Réponds à ma tendresse-Respond to my tenderness

Verse-moi, verse-moi l'ivresse!-Pour out to me, pour out to me the euphoria!

and euphoria means a felling of happiness

    enjoy!! :)

  • @AnnaBannanaize thumbs up if you will listen in 2012

  • @AnnaBannanaize like if you still will listen in 2012

  • @AnnaBannanaize it was barely three years ago for pete's sake, that's not that cool.

  • @AnnaBannanaize

    It's only been two years

how about Beathoven, we still listen to his stuff 200 years later

  • @AnnaBannanaize 2012! :)

  • @AnnaBannanaize 2012

  • I approve of the French, disapprove of Twilight. Jesus Christ, Muse, why give into it...

  • The french part he is saying Ah! Responds, answered to my love

    Pour me, pour me drunk

    Responds to my love

    Responds to my love

    AH! makes me drunk

    pour me, pour me drunk

    Responds to my love

    Responds to my love

    AH! Pour me drunk

  • @OBellaSwanOo it's more "answer to my love"

  • Okay listen I have a crush on Matt Bellamy as much as the next girl, but like... sick french accent. Reepondzzz ahh ma tondruhhhhzzzeehhhhhhh

    So beautiful though :(

  • Chimes are the best. ;)

  • the French part made me giggle abit the French lyrics mean: Ah! Responds, answered to my love Pour me, pour me drunk Responds to my love Responds to my love AH! makes me drunk pour me, pour me drunk Responds to my love Responds to my love AH! Pour me drunk
  • I asked my French teacher what the French bit meant and let's just say it was an awkward experience.

  • He... has a really good voice, I think.

  • I love Muse, but... that part in French makes me cringe.

  • I'm French and I think he can (kinda) speak french well! :D

  • @EvilKittenzZ so what is he saying? i'm getting frustrated not knowing

  • @ilovewerepires I cannot speak English well, but he's saying "Ah! Answer to my affection! Pour drunkeness on me!" BTW ivresse can mean drunkeness, but "être ivre de joie" means be ecstatic

I hope you kinda understood it! ;D

  • @EvilKittenzZ i've wanted to take French for awhile now and have learned a few phrases so i understood pretty well, and thanks so much, i'm so happy i finally know what he's saying

  • @ilovewerepires No problem, you're very welcome! ^^

  • Ah! réponds à ma tendresse!

    Verse-moi, verse-moi l'ivresse!

  • I listen to a Muse song, and I think "This is the BEST SONG EVAR!" Then I listen to another, and think exactly the same thing... And this keeps happening!

  • @TheWeirdF is just muse syndrome

  • I think my replay button just died...

  • This song is going to be played at my wedding. It's so cute!

  • ...To the love of my life... Sorry this has French Instead of Russian...

  • lo maximo esta cancion !

  • <3 <3 <3

  • Most beautiful song ever.

  • Muzyka tworzona dla mnie!

  • no sé ni por qué, pero de toda la música, ésta es mi rola favorita!!! es que es.... waaaaAAAaaa!

  • Simply Amazing :)

  • The French part is beautiful :3

  • that bass clarinet solo is god mode. ahhh so jazzy.

  • so many choices but when you're my age (14) you get really mixed up and don't know who you like :(

  • It's "réponds à ma tendresse" ! :-)

  • bass clarinet

  • bass clarinet

  • *répond

  • "répond

  • this song has so much emotion in it I just can explain how much I love this song! I must listen to it 20 times a day

  • this will forever be my favourite muse song. i don't know why.

  • ftw glissandros :D

  • the best part is the sax solo part.

  • @greymuhlnickel I thought it was clarinet

  • @TheWeiseboy it is

  • @TheWeiseboy i think it's sax. but it might be base clarinet.

  • i love this song!!! even tho its quite different to their usual stuff and @415girlsf i think all their albums are just incredible including absolution and OOS

  • go to 4:34- the end.

  • this make me think of her.........

  • I like this version better than the soundtrack version.

  • Just wow....Mage so great elements here....being surprised every minute of the song. Beautiful.

  • The french bit it seems he is pitying himself for being drunk and late...:/......Sorry, loose french from my studies....Kind of wierd in this song, but he sure can sing pretty! :D

  • Reeepahns a ma taahndreseee!! Jesus what an accent! Ruined the song for me anyway.

  • (Y) MUSE (Y)

  • I know people will hate but what in the world were they thinking? It's basically a horrible mixture of The Killers with Queen. It's cool that they're expanding out to different Genre's but come on there's a limit. Besides "mon coeur s'ouvre a ta voix" was just ruined.

  • My favorite part after 2:10

I have a tear each time I hear that one.. :")

  • The french translated into English, he's basically saying

My love, pure me drunkenness over and over.

  • @dclaver2 Absolutely not. He's saying "pour me drunkenness" and "answer to my tenderness" (with a very, very bad accent).

  • @dclaver2 "Return my tenderness, aaah, pour me drunkness" it sounds so much better in french lool

  • i accidently pressed dislike, bite me

  • @ipodsable YOU SUCK!!! =P

  • @sergiocheco watcha gona do about son

  • @ipodsable I know right not like he is going to find you and beat the crap out of you lol

  • @TheWeiseboy You never know so watch your back.... a crowd of fans might suddenly attack you!!! lol

  • @sergiocheco haha yeah ah crap HERE THEY COME!!!!!

  • @sergiocheco Lol, I read that in Stewie's voice.

  • @ipodsable Lol. Somebody got a bit over-zealous due to the epic-osity of MUSE. ;)

  • @ipodsable I'll bite you. Cause this is a like-zone only.

  • @ipodsable Don't worry, I made up for your dislike (Y)

  • @KeepRidingTheLines cool but there'll always be this red line.

  • @ipodsable if you don't like it then thats your opinion, I don't know why people make a big deal if someone else doesn't like exactly what they like, you know?

  • @kylewise14 Dude whats your problem. i say i disliked it to piss some idiots off. Honestly , the truth is i "liked" it. Get the whole story.

  • @ipodsable its quite funny that 7 people dont like the video and 10 liked your comment and most likely did the same, did they hit the like button y a mistake?

  • @KimpoV9 it was a joke if your intelligence cant tell. btw way to point out the 8 month old comment ;)

  • @ipodsable i just felt answering it, and my comment where meant as a joke... need to get better on explaining them, or improve my sense of humor :)

  • Uhm let's say Bellamy's pronounce of french is as english as horrible... "Reponds à ma tendresse" should be a wrong imperative and it doesn't make any sense, it's like saying "Returns my tenderness"... However it's such an amazing meaningful song, I love it!

  • @CallmeXtina80

He didn't write the french part. It's from an opera by Camille Saint-Saens

  • @angiefaithluva7x I know; his pronounciation is however terrible D:

  • lOvE thiz sOng M NKANTA¡¡¡

  • I'm in love....with this man:)

  • the 3 people who disliked this are retards that couldn't tell good music even if it slam straight into them.....

  • did you know the part in french is a fragment of the opera Samson et Dalila, by Camille Saint-Saens??

  • @esquenoquiero Thnks for the FYI.... that's good to know or add as a footnote!! =]

  • @esquenoquiero

Now we know! Thanks to You! :*

  • Comment removed

  • @esquenoquiero speak in spanish men

  • @RIGODESHOW pues dije que si alguien ha notado que la parte que canta en francès es un fragmento de la òpera Sansòn y Dalila, de Camille Saint-Saens...

  • just got heart attack

  • weeeeeeepons ama tandwesseeeeeeee

  • in the lyrics... there is no french word "responds" its, "réponds"

and the singer is definitely attempting the french accent.

  • @torment0fsin If by "attempting" you mean qu'il parle comme une vache espagnole quoi!

  • Comment removed

  • The french part is really disturbing. French isn't my first language, so that may be why it disturbs me even more than the one's who speak french as their first language. All the pronunciation I've been struggling with for five years and finally learned properly, and then this. The song is good old Muse, but really, stick to english. :D

  • haha i think he doesn't know what he's saying in the frenchpart xD

  • (Woah!) 00:4

  • buenizima kanzion!!

  • vraiment la meilleur de l'album

  • haha i wish i knew what he was saying in french, but just hearing it is enough proof its very beautiful. :P

  • Matt pronounces every single French word in English! lol

  • does anyone else think the very beginning sounds like a Beatles song

  • does anyone know what the instrument is that starts at 4:36? it sounds so french :D

  • @leoniess15 I could be totally wrong but I think it's a bassoon.

  • @Ingestedbanjo thankyou!

  • @leoniess15 & @Ingestedbanjo -- it is a clarinet not a bassonon n_n

  • This is such a great song! It makes me be in a good mood, love the melody, everything, I love Matt's voice!

  • BRAVO BRAVO MONSIEUR! <3 :)

  • i cant sit still while listening to this song.

  • love this song<3

  • This sounds like Christmas music...or worse...Broadway. This is not the rock band I used to love. Very disappointing. I feel that my demographic (males 18-25 with an IQ higher than 4) is being squeezed out of their fan base in favor of something more profitable. But, hey that's showbiz. Hope you guys enjoy your money as much as I enjoy your first 3 albums. Tell Justin Beiber and Lady Gaga I said "hi." *yawn*

  • @maikeru01 I love this album. Just try and think of it as a musical interpretation of George Orwell's 1984. As good as the book I think

  • lol when i tried google translate for the" AH! Verse-moi l'ivresse" part it said

"pour me a drink" Muse is promoting alcohol-use XD jk

  • @MangekyouPuppets actually it is not muse it is camille saint saens because the french part comes from an opera he wrote in the early years of the 20th century . And they were not that concerned about alcohol use. LOL

I'd even say the more the better in those years ;)

  • @sidou26 Yup! Camille saint saens is one of my fav composers!

This is from Samson and Delilah i think...

  • Matthew wrote this song to me!!!!!

  • I love this song; the beat, the mix of classic and so on.

And though I don't understand French, it doesn't really matter, because there's so much more action in the melody than lyrics in general!

    Love it!

  • So do I :D

  • Oh my god... i loooooooooveeeeeeeeeee this song :D~

  • "Ah! Responds, responds has my tenderness Verse me, pours to me Responds intoxication has my Responds tenderness has my tenderness AH! pour to me intoxication pours me, pours to me Responds intoxication has my Responds tenderness has my tenderness AH! Pour to me intoxication" is what it means (thanks, online translator!!!!) . there you go

  • @twilightchik11 It's actually: My heart opens itself to your voice Ah! Respond, Respond to my tenderness Pour out to me, pour out to me the euphoria! Respond to my tenderness Respond to my tenderness! Ah! Pour out to me the euphoria! Pour out to me, pour out to me the euphoria! Respond to my tenderness! Respond to my tenderness! Ah! Pour out to me the euphoria!
  • @TheHeroIsForgotten okay. i just checked it out on a translator webside, that was the result. just postin.

  • no mention of camille saint-saens' samson & delilah on here. oh well, great music inspires great music!

  • @oakhill49 Ha, I was just going to comment on that. I was listening to this song with a friend of mine, (we're both opera singers), and we both flipped out when that part started. Only Muse could take such a beautiful aria and make it even COOLER (even if Matt's French kind of sucks :p )

  • Awesome, now clarinet gets a spot on a Muse album. I play trumpet (along with guitar and piano that always appears) so Black Holes was fun for me

  • k, can somebody PLEASE tell me what the french translation says plz?!??? i've been on google frikin translator saying "Verse-moi, verse-moi l'ivresse" into 'pour me the drunkness'

    doesnt make any sense!!!!!

  • @molovesmusic567 It's a metaphor, a poorly translated on. You're not going to get it until you take some French. Loosely I think it means something like pour one for me in English, it is hard to find another equivalent saying.

  • best band ever !

muse<3 every song is so special and amazing !

thank you god, for this band :D

    <3

  • "responds a ma tendresse" so absolutely perfect in every respect. Gentle, soothing and no limits beyond the best we could ever ask for, or have (ideally). The journey is overdue - still very long - yet with the possibility of happiness

  • wow they really took all of the power out of this song didn't they?

  • The original version is the best!!

  • One of their best new songs I think : hope they'll play it at stade de france on 11th june !! cause I'll be there :D

  • Jeez. I hate when people say that Absolution and Origin of Symmetry, etc, was the REAL Muse. No people. THIS is the real Muse. The Muse that can play any type of sound or music and still be the best. I am glad they are changing it up a bit and it sounds great. I love Muse and all of their past albums. Very Very much. And now I love this album to. They are not turing mainstream, ok? Besides, none of the mainstream music out there could even TOUCH this. Love Muse! :D GO MATT!! <3

  • @415girlsf I wonder why would anyone say it doesn't sound like Muse. It sound as Muse as any of the previous albuns o_O

  • @415girlsf I liked Orgin of Symmetry and Absolution better but this album i thought was pretty good.

  • @415girlsf SAID IT ALL!!! exactly!! :)

i got happier just for knowing that there are people that thinks this too... haha like me...

  • ITS THE MUSE OF MUSICS !

  • @415girlsf Mainstream? Since when was appropriating Saint-Saens mainstream?

  • @415girlsf True. Muse will always be muse
