im stuck on the bit where you have to go either left or right into the corridors and i got a checkpoint in teh kitchen the middle of the stairs and just out of the whacys cargo room where its utter chaos

Err.. there are save points on vet. Your just getting to them to slow. The game has a set time limit for each checkpoint. So say you have to be a the checkpoint area by 7 minutes. If your not there then no checkpoint (the reason why is the game doesn't think you will finish the level in time, thus no reason to checkpoint and waste your time as you keep failing due to lack of time).

It is Veteran, Veteran is the only difficulty which the time starts at 9 minutes, the others start at 15.

I was stuck at where you are at 2:25, there is absolutely no way this is veteran, if you run to that right hall way and stand in the middle, you get shot in the back and that guy never crouches behind the boxes while you run up and kill him.

I've recently completed the achivements for Call of Duty 4 ; Modern Warfare. Like me, or anyone else, The two tunnels are very difficut and majority of people cannot pass. What you do is simple, at first you throw a flashbang into one of the tunnels, and hopefully both of them should be stunned for a short period of time. Quickly kill the first guy and then throw another flashbang into the tunnel and finish the secound guy. After that it should be quite easy.

I never got the save point at the end of this clip. Must be a glitch. This game is absolute BS on Veteran. It takes the fun out of it, but I want my Achievement points. The "Your Show Sucks" Achievement is also BS. You take out all the TV's and nothing.

Sometimes it works, I got through the long hallway with the big crates and blue tarps and stuff like five different times and when I passed through to the next part I only got a checkpoint like the fifth time...

I was stuck on this stupid level for the longest. I kept diein on that hall way part so I got pissed and flashbanged and nuke tubed my way down the middle. I really don't know how I did that but it was a releif to get that next checkpoint.

Appreciate the walkthrough and all, but this game is bullshit on veteran. In your video after the first save point, which is completely random I might add, there is no one in the left tunnel. This is where I am stuck because I cannot simply sprint into the right tunnel and take out all the dudes as there is at least one guy shooting me from behind.

Dude, as strange as it is, Dragunov is excellent for this entire level. Use MP5 for close combat, but Dragunov to slowly proned kill all the guards. It's really easier with it...

ye, i figured out how great the drugonov really is, but now that i'm in the final hallway, (and thank god i have the checkpoint for it), the drugonov is really slow and therefore useless,however, i found a g3 which is also a scoped machine gun so i'm good.

Killing with a Dragunov is certainly a bit slow, but is precise AND secure. And because you securely kill the guards you can rush in then. Actually I came a bit later at the checkpoint after that one with the star (plenty of columns), but inside of the tunnels, Dragunov resolve it so securely, that I could run many times and came really erlier to the gates opening (then I think its a lot easier to get thru)

why use a fucking nuke? There are such things as Anti-Missile Missiles. When they get near the nuke, they explode taking out the Nuke in mid-flight.

You have to enter the room but get ready for close encounter so throw a flashbang and quickly take out the 2 guys there then take cover and take out everyone else. All you have to do is take out the group in about the 3rd level of computers.

After that enter the room at the top of the room and take out the 2 guys. Once you do that you enter the codes and get the hell out of the building.

try tapping lean left/right to quickly see enemy, that way they can't shoot you yet. The grenade launcher (press 5) could be useful too.

I just got to this part about two days back and i have heard horror stories about playing it on veteran. The checkpoints or savepoints really help!
