I grew up in that area and rode my bike as a kid across that bridge. It is the old bridge with a dam underneath it. Humphrey Brook is the name of the waterway and that large building was a woolen mill many years ago
we did a very similar recovery like this one. used 2 F550 twin line wreckers one postioned on the bridge and another to the side. and with a little teamwork we lifted it out with one and pulled to the side with the other. no more damage to anything and we were on our way in less than 15 minutes. and and i had a rope as i was chosen to take out the straps to the car.. helps being trained properly.
agreed. the different type of oils, the storage battery can damage crucialy a small river like this. And it would kill people if the river was connecting to watersupply in any point.
cars a ride off theres no point on savin the car now... fuck getting wet head to toe the tow controls could have got the car but remember water and car with the bed down could have lefted the front tiers on the truck and maybe sidin truck in with it
well at least they could of used a lil brain power and not pulled it up over the concrete wall......destroying what might still be salvageable, thats what I was referring to. And just to let you know, mr marine.... I have six wreckers, and two deck trucks, not just a keyboard like yourself :)
Yea sure he would they don't care about the car... the INS would total it out and no sane person would ever spend more than the worth of the car to pluck it from the water. If you fired someone for that your imaginary companys life would be short lived LOL.
how would you have liked him to remove that car??? with a helicopter apparently the damage is apparent and thats why there are collison repair facilities
Look up up "accord going in ditch"

Why were they using a flat bed for the recovery? Definitely a job for a wrecker. To much stress for the flat bed.

I shot a very similar accident to this in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. It's on youtube under the name "Car Crash - 9th Concession & Baseline Road".
