  • any ptv clearance issues with the n41 cam?

  • What do you think of the Pro chamber?

  • @tonifreakshow No complaints I like the sound of it.. I have had both other styles on the car as well. X pipe was the quietest, H had a very similar sound. They say that the prochamber is supposed to have more torque, but between all three pipes the differences are not noticeable.

  • does your belt rub together underneath the tension pulley? with the ac delete kit??

  • @1lupa1 No not even close, the AC delete on the car is actually the factory non AC unit.

  • I have a Trickflow upper and lower intake like that with a 70mm throttle body, did you have to do anything else to it? like computer wise? I don't think mines running right, still have the stock air intake but i put a mass air meter on there which did nothing.

  • @apothecary10 I upgraded to 30# injectors and adjusted the fuel pressure accordingly... Computer wise nothing has been done. I would like to get it dyno tuned with a custom chip this upcoming year it's not a necessity though..

  • all that for a stock automatic tranny? How long before it fell out on the road?

  • lol my f250 has the same door chime

  • @FORDGTFANATIC It should since Ford reuses parts across a lot of models.

  • Did you also use the trick flow throttle body or a bbk?

  • nice wheels

  • what brand of tachometer is that?

  • @redzballin11 Autometer it's awesome, has multiple colors for the shift lights, can set dif rpm for each gear, launch rpm, etc...

  • @89lx5o how much does it cost? ive been looking at some and there pretty expensive

  • Hey man, do you know of any throttlebodys that will make a hiss like a snake? I am looking to get the typhoon intake manifold with a 70mm throttle body..

  • @The92foxbody I would not go cheap on your throttle body, BBK or Accufab would be the only throttle bodies I would run. I've hear horror stories of Mac, and holley, and Typhoons sticking. Some say the BBK hisses but I can't hear it over my exhaust.

  • @89lx5o Yea I heard about the BBK hissing. THe typhoon aint really cheap. Manifold with throttle body and spacer is $659.00. A guy at the last show I went to had the set-up on his and it looked bad ass. But I wanted some opinion before I get it... Would you recommend upgrading anything when I upgrade my throttle body to a 70mm? (my engine is mostly stock)

  • @The92foxbody by cheap I meant quality an that's very expensive for Typhoon product.. I would go Trick flow or Edelbrock for the intake, and BBK or Accufab. A used trickflow or edelbrock is better then a new typhoon.

  • @The92foxbody @The92foxbody by cheap I meant quality an that's very expensive for Typhoon product.. I would go Trick flow or Edelbrock for the intake, and BBK or Accufab. A used trickflow or edelbrock is better then a new typhoon. The typhoon is a spoof of the Edelbrock and has bad port quality etc...

  • @89lx5o If you're right than i'm definately gonna have to look into this some more. This is only my twice a month show car, but I want something that not only looks good, but performs good.

  • @The92foxbody my bbk throttle body hisses but the gear drive and the procharger kinda drown it out LOL

  • sounds sick

  • I like the exhaust sound....sounds like you have a x pipe...

  • Exhaust at that time was bbk shortys, mac pro chamber, and Flows

  • what does the trick flow do??...i got a stock upper and lower intake on my lx..but im thinking about bidding on a trick flow system..and i already have a 200$ cold air system on the stock 65mm body..and the trick flow is 75mm

  • I will be selling my upper and lower soon I have something a lil more fun to replace it with. It's a good intake and it just flows more... period...

  • A trick flow intake will flow more and make better hp than a stock intake. I'd guesstimate that if you put one on an otherwise stock engine, you should see about a 20 to 25 hp gain. If you change your heads, cam, the manufacturers claim a total hp gain of 50-65, depending.

  • Sounds great. Where in PA do you live? Did you do the swap yourself? I got robbed for my install. Cost me over $1600 and a 10 hr job took the guy 4 months. I was going to do it myself but was not confident in degreeing the cam. Perhaps if your close and go to the track I will see you.

I live near Lebanon if your familar with there eastern part of PA.

  • I'm right in the middle of bucks county. I had the HCI installed by Grows auto shop on Mearns Rd. In warminster. I paid no where near that and had it done in about a week. I also wanted to attempt it myself just didn't have the time to do it..

  • Thanks

  • yes it did-didnt get that -got a 92 conv mostly stock w 82500 miles instead

  • i am lookin at a 88 lx5.0 conv-it has on the trick flow like yours--it whistles at idle--some people on here say thats how it is-i dont here yours whistling--does it--what u think

  • Does it have an aftermarket throttle body? A lot of them whistle, mine does.

  • I can't really hear any whistles over the exhaust... lol

  • nice mustang what lb injectors are you running

  • Thanks, and they're 30# injectors

  • cool, nice job

  • Thanks

  • are those 4-lug anthresite wheels or 5-lug?

  • 5 Lug, swap was done using a 96 gt donor car.

  • Did you need a tune when you finished up???

  • Just adjusted the timing and fuel pressure. I'm sure they could squeak more power out of it on a dyno tune and make it smoother, but for right now I'm saving my benjamins.

  • sick ass mustang man i love the sound true american muscle right there all mustang should sound like this

  • Stopped by!

    Les

  • 5-speed will be nice for you. Where did you get your cam? I want to get some specs on it.

I' thinking about going with AFR Heads and Trick flow upper/lower intake.

  • It's an anderson N-21 grind cam. That wouldn't be a bad setup. If I had to do it all over again I probably would go carbed w/ a vic junior intake or parker funnel intake.

  • Did you do anything to the bottom end? bore or anything....

  • No it's all stock

  • okay thanks. Well I'm trying to figure out whether or not to bore the bottom end on my 88. It smokes a bit, I think I have some ring problems. I don't know weather to fix it stock or bore to 306. I have a thread talking about all this, I think in 5.0 Tech (AFM) -Smoked88GT

  • aprox rwhp?

  • 270-300 would be my guess

  • if the cam has close to 450-550 lift you will be right under 300.

  • Very nice set up. 5/5 Love the sound too

  • Sounds just like mine. What cam are you running?

  • Anderson Motorsports n-21 grind

  • Sounds good keep lobbin

  • what does the car run in the 1/4 also i see you have an auto do you like it better then the 5 speed

  • Haven't run it yet w/ the current setup. The auto isn't bad, but I'm going 5 speed in it soon.

  • just to let you know, i took a full second off my 1/4 mile swaping from AOD to a Cobra T5 from promotion powertrain. had the 4.10's in the rear with both tran's, but the AOD had a stock stall.

good luck, check out my video's when you get some time.

  • Yeah I can't wait I'm slacking though. The parts have been sitting for a few months now. I'm just focused on to much other sh*t

  • I got a 89 mustang 50 with the same set up I it got think a e303cam,trickflow heads, trickflow intake and a 75mm throtal body and my car run like crap. Can u give me your phone# so I can ask u some questions so I can get my car running rite.

  • 75corvette75..did you get the car tuned? If not, thats probably why its not running right

  • stage 1 cam? Sounds Great !

  • It's a Anderson motor sports n21 grind. Setup is: Mac Cold air BBK 70mm tb Trickflow upper lower Anderson n21 Tricklow twisted wedge heads BBK headers Mac pro chamber American thunder flowmasters And all supporting fuel mods..
  • very nice... i cant wait til i have my trickflow set up in my fox. i already have the bbk shorty's, underdrive pulleys, flowmasters, bbk cold air intake, pro 5.0 shift kit and 373's.

  • Wow man , sounds nice , I recived my anderson n21 cam acouple days ago and am going to get it put in when it warms up.

How does it perform . Did you have any problems with piston to valve clearance, im running mine with 1.7 rr

    Its sounds awsome!

  • Stock pistons w/ no problems. I love the sound and the power is good, but the stock auto and 3.08 gears makes it a dog off the line!!!

I have an arsenal of parts in my garage that will get this thing screaming...
