  • blood and sweat back-deadlifts from floor-5x5,deadlifts from just below knees-5x3,weighted chins or pull-ups 3-5x max,power cleans-5x5,clean and snatch grip high pulls-5x3-5,snatch grip shrugs-5x5.obviously i wouldnt reccomend all of this work in one back workout so pisk a couple one week and the others the next week.

  • 18 sets for back and 21 for triceps? you must be kidding and thats the worst back workout ever ,

  • wonderful to see rows in a back routine.blood and sweat back;power cleans-5x5,power snatch-5x1-3,weighted chins5xmax,deadlifts-5x5,clean and snatch grip high pulls-5x5,barbell rows-5x6,good mornings-3x8-15.im a competitor in masters class olympic lifting,so of course i have the snatch and clean and jerk.for variety,i add in clean and jerks with an apollons axle.

  • Pullovers deepen the chest and help your back get thicker. I do them for my back routine! During the time when i switch to back and chest its a great final exercise

    Deadlifts, Barbell (My favourite).

    T-Baw Rows, Barbell in corner with V-Shaped Row Attachment, and a Straight attachment, grasping underhand (reverse grip)

    One-Arm Rows, Dumbbell

    Lat Machine Variations

    Bent Over Fly's

    Pull ups, Variations

    Face Pulls, Cable Column

    Seated Rows, Low Pulley Cable Column

  • @PullUps88 Doing that many is for endurance and will probably not make you sore. If you want to build muscle, and probably be sore, do a LOT less reps.

  • On the 'Dumbbell Bent over Row', would it be better to do those a little 'slower' than what you just showed here? Or wouldn't it really matter?

  • Um, dumbbell pullovers is NOT a back workout. It works pecs (major, sternal), triceps and you could also say deltoids. Definitely not for your back.

  • @noobztidie Hey dip shit, yes it works your lats but that's not why its performed. It mostly works your arms/lower chest, essentially your whole torso. Back in the good ol' days (when there was no bench press) people did pullovers. Have you ever done em and felt it in your posterior muscle? No, you skinny fkn dork. The whole purpose was to build interior depth (primarily core/CHEST). Besides, anyone who understands physiology beyond the year 1960 would never do them.

    Garbage exercise.

  • hey just started to work out and i do at home with dumbbells....if i do the dumbbell bent over row at home like 4 sets maybe with 10-15 reps each....do u think thats good enough for back? and wat other muscle does it workout since i only have dumbells to work with and thats it....and how long do u think i would see results if i workout everyday cept sunday for 30 mins to an hr and i do everything in one day altogether

  • @maisamraza1 There are plenty of exercises you can do with just dumbells for back. just to hard to explain them here.

  • how much should one rest between theese sets ? im an amateure in the gym but im planing on making a workout scheduele , could you recomend how i should make it , like wich body parts to do at the same day ?

  • @allstarswag I usually rest about a minute between sets. It kinda of depends. Some people do arms one day, then chest and back another, then legs. I like to do triceps and chest, back and biceps, legs and shoulders. But you should workout at least 3 days a week to see any results.

  • @CarbonFitness - In all seriousness he's right. Your dumbell rows are moving vertically upwards which is a rear deltoid exercise. To work the lats you really need to pull to the hip. They're not awful form but they could be better

  • @AriannitVranjevcit exactly, i used to do these years ago. they give the ribcabe a bit of an expansion.and really streatch the sternum area, nothing to do with the back here!!!.

  • @AriannitVranjevcit If you knew what you were talking about than you would know that the pullovers work the LATS, which are the largest muscles in the back. I should know, I've been training for years!

  • Not bad man...not bad.

    Maybe get a bit more stretch on your pulldowns...allow your body to come all the way up and stretch the back.

    18 sets plus for the back is way too much in my view. I do max 12 sets, but I do the same routine that you guys do...not really a new routine but rather something people have been doing for years.
