The only problem with real minefields in this game is that every team has some kind of mortar/artillery barrage capability. Minefields cost a fortune, but mortar and howitzer barrages are free.

Mines were used only as defensive measures and to slow down people. The only thing 'defensive' they did was force troops through a bottle neck where mg 42's were usually located. They were also used to close down a supply route for a short time. Disarming a whole minefield could take days, and eventually someone made a mistake. And there weren't thousands of engineers out there.

@McSvorsk THere are two different kinds of mines, the nazis get an additional Teller mine which is an antivehicle mine, costing 50 munitions, with the Antipersonnel mine shown, costing 25munitions.

This is something every 1 in the army knows, when in a minefield, NEVER GO IN A STRAIGHT PATH`!!! Go though the way where mines have already blown up to the left or right, dnt ever go in a straight line, go left, right, diagonal ect.
