I sunk my bobcat up to the front door in swamp mud the North Carolina swamp mud.. i got it out quicker then that. . . . just sayin. . .  you dont leave the trucks or wheels spinning backwards if you go with the speed the bucket is pushing you out you will get out a hell of a lot faster. . . . and i gotta skid steer not tracked. . . .

Did same with an Army 10K RT/AT forklift years ago. This is a 23,000 pound rough terrain/all terrain forklift capable of lifting 10,000 pounds (pallets, vehicles, small buildings, etc). The tines (forks) extend or retract and rotate vertically. After getting stuck in deep mud, used those features by rotating the forks downwards, driving them into the ground, and extending them to push the forklift out. Took two attempts, but worked well.
