Does anyone even know about the "Super Attack Heli"? Not the one the Goverment attack you with... look in the top left of the Demo area, theres a military base... Take down the S.A.M turrets then fly away. (Must take down S.A.M turrerts or you will be blow out the sky in Milliseconds!)

@CLD1312 the sam turrets are easy to dodge i dont know any-one who has trouble with the sam turrets if u have trouble then u need to get better at just cause 2 (im not trying to be an asshole just so u know)

Just saying, there are two crates of missiles next to the second cargo chopper. (He stands next to one crate when he picks up the rifle) You can tether the missiles to your chopper, and then drop them over fuel silos. Have fun! Also, buy the game, it's awesome.

the shotgun is found on elite troopers underground by the starting place, just go left from the jump-off point and you'll come across a military base, theres a big structure there which has holes you can fall down, the troopers are in there. in the full game though, there are plenty of shotty-wielding dudes all over the place, so you don't really need to look around for it.
