Holy Cow - this is amazing! In my 26 years there, nothing even remotely similar ever happened. It was blue clear skies every day. Mother Nature can be harsh sometimes. Thankfully this is not the norm and probably won't happen again for 70 years. Thanks for posting this.

I Never Want To Experience anything like this Again.....I Live on the Gold Coast And It Was so Bad....I Actually Thought At One Point, This Is It...The END OF THE WORLD Was here....It Was So HORRIBLE, You Could Actually Taste the Dirt....The Worst Dust Storm In 70 years....Hope It's The Last One.....thanks for sharing.....

I live near Beaudesert Queensland about an hour from Brissie and the GC and it was so freaky and scary - the day got really dark in the middle of the day and the air glowed orange - never seen or felt anything like it - you can't get the picture from any photos what it actually felt like!!!

the whole air glowing - was just the weirdest and it was really hard to breathe even indoors!!
