One of my friends glitched onto GM island before and they were like "wtf. how did you get here?" and stuff. after a few questions of how he got there, they kicked him offline for a moment and moved his character back to the normal player field.

All it does is prove you rely too solely on the written level provided to you. AND, if they ARE GM's , couldn't they just make it so you don't see that they're really 255? Trust me, we got limited heavily and are watched by every other customer support agent in the room... Why? Because we need to add items to our inventory to send it via in-game mail when people need items back because they were hacked... Any GM can login whenever it is necessary and approved. We only lose our jobs if we break the set rules for us more then twice, and etc...

Normally you dont meet gamemasters ingame, they're helping you from some office, using some sort of program that allows them to connect to the player chatbase. Also all those .modify .learn and such commands are things that exist on private servers not in real World of Warcraft.
@JacobFilmEntertainme in vanilla the gm's were in game, not in just some office, no really there, they could appear to you and did if they caught you doing some no-no's, I have personally interacted with gm's in game, in character, not just through chat like now days, those commands do really exist in retail wow, I have witnessed it myself, a gm helped our guild take down c'thun onetime and did .modify lvl 60 right in front of us, we were like da fuck, yeah shit tripped me out.
btw gms can be ne lvl they want i saw a gm in wotlk that was lvl 855 and another that was lvl 530 and others that were 100+ they can be ne lvl the want or they dont need a lvl its the same in every game

GMs have their characters only on gm island as level 1s naked, invisible, and if they are going out in public it is on a normal charcter, like yours and mine, eventually level 73 leveling like normal people, this was a proof i got from chatting with a gm, beat that!!!

Actually, they can. I've seen it. My friend and I had problems with an instance and a GM came in to help us. He was like level 10 and we asked him about it and he popped up to like 60 or something instantly.

I am not allowed to really speak of this so i'm going to pray my boss doesn't see this but we Gm's can be any level... We can modify players levels or anything else. Second when you /who GM it is impossible to find us. We are hidden from all player, and only show ourselves In-game only when really necessary.
GM island does exist, they just took it out recently, I actually have a blizzard employee in my guild on the horde side, he actually just plays the game like everyone else, GMs are regular people, and if they play WoW they play it like us. thanks.
isn't photoshop an amazing thing? gm island doesnt show up on the /who window, and moreso gm island isnt even a real place, GMs dont even have to have wow running to do customer support, it's a script program that merely sends the data to the game
When I went to game designing and programming school, part of what we learned was that in order to not appear into a game but still be able to interact, you'd have to be placed on a different phase than everybody else and the game isn't even running. They use these script-like windows to talk to players, where they can enter their "Blizzard" logo on the chat box. If you create a ticket and tell them this, they will tell you not to spread rumors - and warn you not to do that again.

Actually, they can. I've seen it. My friend and I had problems with an instance and a GM came in to help us. He was like level 10 and we asked him about it and he popped up to like 60 or something instantly.
I believe a popular female WoW commentator had the same thing happen to her. I'm sure if you look for "Rare GM Sighting" or something you'll find her.

it says player not found cuz that person wasnt a gm and you have to modify your game to get to gm island so his account got banned for modifying the game which happens to anyone who goes to gm island without being a gm

GM's are anywhere from level 1-250 they choose. and they can get any gear they want, they could fist fight you and win. they have infinite health.

i saw a level 85 pally that had no armor at all, and i was dueling a guy and he said a gm wants you to kill my pet. so i did, and that naked pally opened a gm chat with me, so gm's are visible i guess

I am not allowed to really speak of this so i'm going to pray my boss doesn't see this but we Gm's can be any level... We can modify players levels or anything else. Second when you /who GM it is impossible to find us. We are hidden from all player, and only show ourselves In-game only when really necessary.

GM island does exist, they just took it out recently, I actually have a blizzard employee in my guild on the horde side, he actually just plays the game like everyone else, GMs are regular people, and if they play WoW they play it like us. thanks.

isn't photoshop an amazing thing? gm island doesnt show up on the /who window, and moreso gm island isnt even a real place, GMs dont even have to have wow running to do customer support, it's a script program that merely sends the data to the game

When I went to game designing and programming school, part of what we learned was that in order to not appear into a game but still be able to interact, you'd have to be placed on a different phase than everybody else and the game isn't even running. They use these script-like windows to talk to players, where they can enter their "Blizzard" logo on the chat box. If you create a ticket and tell them this, they will tell you not to spread rumors - and warn you not to do that again.
