  • Skyrim is a place of beautiful fields and meadows and of towering mountains of ice, but for some reason I miss that desolate wasteland. Oh god I take this game way to seriously.

  • Lovelovelovelovelove. ♥

Best song i've heard in a while actually.

Thank you fallout for bringing the good ol' songs back! :)

  • This song is pure genius. She must have had a dream about me.

  • Fuck... this is from a musical about WW2 and Pearl Harbor... but I forgot what it was called :P

  • @BagelBoi53 South Pacific :D

  • @N734NJ THAT'S IT! Thanks

  • who hears the echo when she says guy the 1st time?

  • Fart in Amata's face

Fart in a Super Mutant's face

    Fart in the BOS's face

  • My best friend loves this game, and for his birthday his girlfriend sang this song to him. They're now married. This music does wonders.

  • @GentaLord Yup, Nothing like music while kill those sons of bitches raiders, and those assholes of Ghouls....

    Wait... What?

  • Oh. I was expecting Three Dog to give me another song after it ended......

  • I love the Fallout 3 music. Yay for GNR. Gah now when I get home I haven't get past the part I'm stuck in...will I ever finish the game?

  • @TheGaaraFunk what part?

  • Don't get me wrong, I love the music.

But why the fuck would an atomic war 200 years into the future force us to listen to music over 250 years old (this music)? I never understood that :p

However, it does suit the style of the game

  • @hejjagedu, (my understanding) I think its because in the fallout universe, the 1950's are the last "civilized" years (for america) where industries (such as record studios, Cola companies, and all those "goodies") existed before everyone starts lauching nukes at each other. Therefor not letting society flourish and interact with each other like our universe has. Understand? =3

  • @Firefarts09 well, it makes more sense, but still X_X music doesn't just stop dead in its tracks. But I'm glad it did in this game :D

  • @hejjagedu I think it makes the dirty atmosphere of bombed world more... creepy

  • @hejjagedu Because of all the fear of nuclear war at the time.

  • I'm so glad that the Fallout series came out and promoted 40s music, I was into this kind of music way before the Fallout games came out though... Maybe If we promote it enough we can make the Fallout style a reality for the future... Promote this music, wear the clothes, drive the cars, ect... JOIN THE REDO40s REVOLUTION!!! "MAKE THE PAST, THE FUTURE" XDDD Like if you will join me!!!

  • @IHAZTHEADHDZ I'm already a part of it. :)

  • @IHAZTHEADHDZ I agree with you one-hundred-thousand percent! I feel out of place in the 21st century. I have been hoping for years that this kind of music would be exposed to the youth of today to show what everybody has been missing out on! Thank God for Fallout!

  • *gazes away slowly in nostalgic reminiscence* Ah, back in my day, I listened to this as I explored the post-nuclear ruins of Washington DC with a junkyard dog and a lazer-wielding super mutant....

  • 4th july!.

  • Rogers and Hammerstein "South Pacific". Very nice!

  • I'm in a Horror Burlesque troupe called Rigor Mortis Revue (I'm Soda), and I have been looking for a song for my first performance. This is PERFECT! My character is a housewife who starts off cleaning and baking, and the first "I'm in Love" repeat part my husband comes home and I kiss him, then strip for him. Then I get the cherry pie I baked, pull a knife out of it, then during the second "I'm in love" part I stab him. Then I'll play it again distorted and feed dead husband the pie *smile*

  • @xfxbxtxlx You just scared the crap out of me.

  • @xfxbxtxlx I LOVE IT. can I get a comp ticket? :D if not, hell I'll buy it, but I better get an autographed photo.

  • @KnightAngelic *smile* Second part sounds good *laughh* Love that you love it!

  • When I first heard this song on Fallout 3, I imagined the Gman (from the Half-Life series) singing this song while wearing a red gown.

    I shit my pants.

  • I’m as horny as Kansas in August,

High as a fag on the Fourth of July!

If you’ll excuse an expression I use,

I’m in love, I’m in love,

I’m in love with a wonderful game!

  • Gay as a daisy...

  • @GreenShark4 Yup, who wouldn't want to be as gay as a daisy?

  • what a great soundtrack!

  • a wonderful song!

  • This is my kind of woman. All horny and high as a kite.

  • @GeneralMcNuggs

Well, I'm afraid she's gay as a daisy in May.

  • @ACogloc in the year she sings this gay meant happy ;)

  • @GeneralMcNuggs She's also as gay as a daisy in May. Sorry for your luck.

  • @GeneralMcNuggs Corny... -__-

  • @GeneralMcNuggs Omfd,I always thought it said as horny as kansas too and I was like what the hell..and continued to raid Rivet City.

  • @GeneralMcNuggs nigga you as gay as a daisy

  • @cralosfuentes And you're a cliche coming true...in May...so there

  • whenever she said "gay" i always thought it was the homosexual "gay" and not the happy one xDD

  • Is it weird for a guy to sing this while sniping of Alistar Tenpenny's head off?

  • When the nuclear apocalypse happens, I'm going to a parking garage with my car lined with lead with a sh*tload of guns in the back.

  • this kind of music always helped me in fallout 3 to survive in scary situations

  • she's horny because she has found a new guy, atleast she's honest about it

  • @gjthewise its actually im as corny as Kansas in august

  • HAHA i sing it on school and my friends look at my like WHAT THE FACK?

  • @Dutchmn4life SAAAAAAAAME.

  • dose any one know where i can download get all the fallout 3 songs

  • you can find them on the fallout wiki

  • [waltzes with a broom in a tattered duster next to a salvaged radio in the wasteland]

  • *bounces and dances..*

  • @AnnabellsSmiles *joins in*

  • @LTamazil *smiles and dances softly.*

  • Galaxy News Radio Rules

  • things which you can hear in a fallout shelter

what is worse? listening to this or dying in a nuclear contaminated desert

  • this is composed by Tex Beneke not sung by him.

  • if there WAS a nuclear apocalypse... first thing i would do... find all traces of todays music and DESTROY it! haha...

  • I'm in love I'm in love I'm in love I'm in love I'm in love with Fallout 3!!!

  • @MayerEO- I believe the explanation was that culture was suppressed by the government so that it couldn't evolve-and music is included in culture.

However, the "technical" explanation is that this is a retro-futuristic concept, and many people in the 50s viewed the overall culture of the future as the same. Only with more awesome technology and the like. That, or they saw it as the "nuclear age," but even then the culture(in their eyes) was going to be the same. In the media of it, that is.

  • @SyrenAftermath- I have, and I love the series. But if an apocalypse were to ACTUALLY happen, in real life, it wouldn't be at all like the Fallout series-save for a few remote things, maybe.

In general, promoting future apocalypses doesn't seem like an exactly "bright," or "kind" idea-even as a joke.

  • My case: How Fallout made metalheads listen to 50's music. Awesome.

  • @ihatebalrog amen

  • *sigh*... Back when gay meant happy... :)

  • 8 gays listen to enclave radio

  • Is it weird that I save bottle caps just in case?

  • @crazy122341 Dude , I'm doing the same thing with beer caps.

  • @AsocaDiez i'm buying 6 packs of coca-cola in glass bottles just for the caps.

  • @sockschappercat Imagine this: someone actually accepts them as currency!

  • @sockschappercat NUKA-COLA

  • @sockschappercat haha me too ;)

  • she said she was "high"!!!!!! :D

  • Comment removed

  • yeah it doesn't exactly make too much sense how the FO series was able to "salvage" oldie's music but not recent stuff...not that that's a bad thing! but it just doesn't make much sense. in fact, wouldn't it be easier to salvage recent music because there are a million copies? and saved on pc's and stuff?

  • @MayerEO It does make sense when you consider that FO is set in an alternate time line, where society stopped changing during the 1950s. Definitely not a bad thing; I don't think walking through the wasteland with Poker face playing in the background would be quite as atmospheric xD

  • @Tofuisyourfriend oh see that makes tons more sense, thanks. and lol at lady gaga while walking through the wasteland xD

  • where can i get a lot of music from this artist, please dont say limewire

  • we know your gay! stop saying it all the time

  • well we can hope already dug out a vault and saved a hunting rifle Xp

  • The door was opening in the 1:36/37 =)

  • @deidara19973 I really hope I'm just seeing that comment out of context, or that you are making a VERY bad joke otherwise. We'd all be screwed, dead or painfully dying before being dead if that actually happened. Unless, of course, we didn't blow up enough of the world. But even then, we'd be pretty screwed.

  • @tickchicktock

Obviously, you haven't played, or even heard of Fallout.

  • @SyrenAftermath

so u really think if there is a Nuclear Apocalypse it would be like fallout? haha ^^

  • HEY! who needs guys when we have other girls? xD

  • Comment removed

  • @skram1000 And 1 d00d can't spell "radroaches" correctly. You have been corrected by a guy from Poland, who is learning english for just 11 years. Just saying.

  • @ASubHumanOfSociety And fucked up buildings. Lots of fucked up buildings, and dead people.

  • @jeitknight Exactly.

  • @deidara19973 Lol if it happend imagin listening 2day music forever i would shoto my self if i had 2 listen to lady ga ga or kisha for the rest of eternity

  • @deidara19973 sorry man, its 2010, all the music we will be able to salvage would be like Eminem and shit so now that we went to far with pasificm we're fucked when it comes to a nuclear war

  • @Runicstorm Eminem is good though...

  • @deidara19973 Right lol damn the music would be great wouldnt it got my own fallout shelter and everything :P .....at school lol

  • @OutlawSprocket All in favor? XD XD XD XD

  • Im as corny as Kansas in August,

Im as normal as blueberry pie.

No more a smart little girl with no heart,

  • I am in a conventional dither, With a conventional star in my eye. And you will note theres a lump in my throat When I speak of that wonderful guy! Im as trite and as gay as a daisy in May, A cliché comin true! Im bromidic* and bright As a moon-happy night Pourin light on the dew! • God Damn it , how many people are watching this because they played Fallout 3 ?

  • @AsocaDiez If anything it's a good thing. Fallout promoted some very sexy music !

  • @pinje I agree with you , I have discovered a lot of 50's music by Fallout !

  • @AsocaDiez everyone..

  • @LTamazil MMMMM At least I die enjoying myself. So long as the music's loud, you forget the world around you's fucked.

  • @Darkmaha thus the purpose of GNR

  • @AsocaDiez Well it is in the Fallout Radio playlist...

  • This song is so sweet it'll give you cavities.

  • I'm as high as a flag on the 4th july :)

  • @RioGiovanni lol

  • no she indeed says horny becaue she apologizes later

  • @renegadecerebrater: im pretty sure its "corny".....

  • @renegadecerebrater ...no she says corny...

  • I heard this first in fallout 3. then a few months ago the school chorus sang this. and i was like"WTF" it was scary i knew all the words.

  • FREE BEER!!! ok now that i have your attention. i haz a funny story. ok we were having our final exam in band class. and we were watching the South Pacific, but i didnt know this song was in it. so when that song started i started to completely freak everyone out by singing this song like word for word, except the one in the movie is like 10 minutes long so yea... btw im 15 a guy, and i mainly listen to hard rock/metal. so that just multiplied the freak factor, this was when music was music 8-P.

  • i swear she says horny

  • She has a beautiful voice. Seriously, seriously beautiful.

  • i always listen to this when im in a mertro tunnel or when its night... it fits :o

  • At the end, I was really surprised that I heard silence, rather than THREEEE-DAAAWG's amazing voice.

  • umm, just a side note. in what way would the statement "Im as horny as kansas in august" even make sense

  • I read "I HEARD HORNY". How? I heard "Corny"...

  • @PantsFullofCorn

    all normal people hear that

  • @PantsFullofCorn listen to it on fallout.

  • i knew it had to be cornyy because nobody would have let the term "horny" be used in media...if "horny" even existed then

  • Someones should of plugged this lady back in the day if she was so horny.

  • she does not say horny she says corny as kansas

  • Galaxy News Radio, baw-aw.

  • i simply love walking through Fallot 3..with dogmeat, my weapons...and listening grn!

  • This music is for the lazy summer days gone by and quiet walks through mutant infested D.C with only Dogmeat as your companion while you slaughter everything in sight with your trusty Chinese Assault rifle!

  • wow i would do this girl for her bad talk if you know what i mean :)

  • As gay as a daisy, as high as the flag on the 4th of july, as horny as kansas in august.. what a naughty girl :)

  • @Zephyr49

  • for some reason i cant get enough of this 30s and 40s music

  • @mbxx2 maybe becaues 30s and 40s music is the shit?

  • @ZeNoodle yeah

  • I saw a sign just like this one on a wall when I was in New York. I wonder if it was for a real fallout shelter?

  • I picture the superduper mart with this song

  • LOL I always thought she said "I'm as horny as Kansas in August"

  • me too -_-

And why thumbs down for this comment?

    It happens sometimes...

  • Oh thank god I wasn't the only one! Lol

  • @bigblackmanswilly i thought that too

  • @bigblackmanswilly She does, doesnt she?

  • @AlmightyPearHater Naw, she says corny XD I thought that when I first heard this song, but then I was like "wait... that's can't be right..."

  • @bigblackmanswilly That's what I heard too. I assumed that "horny" must have had some other meaning back then.
