even i have lasha apso but he doesnt alow me to dry him with drier and to tie him pony......can you give me some suggestions please?? waiting for your reply..!!
@Shivani7195 Shivani, my dog with pony tails since he was few month old, so He doesn't know what is without them. Try to massage him when you blow dry , that helps and make sure you in the restroom not a big room, slow speed and not hot. My dog hates being wet. Pony tails make sure hair is not tight, in the beginning could be very loose as long he is gets used to it. and very important do not remove them, because you will hurt him.
@Shivani7195 To make it easy get small scissors and cut rubber bands. Try to brush he;s hair when he is tired and try on the table, make sure he is not gonna jump. I brush my dogs hair every morning, sometimes 3 times a week and i do that right before we go for a walk, so he knows.We do that for 5years and it works

At first I thought someone had secretly video taped me giving my Lhasa, Piper, a bath. Rocky looks so much like Piper, except she has more brindle (black) boloring in her beard. Piper does NOT like the hairdryer and will playfully run around the house to get away from me. Aren't they the most adorable, special, and SMART dogs ever???!!!
Thanks.......... I've been trying to figure out how to groom my Lhasa Apso for some time. The #10 cut is helpful information. My Oldest Lhasa Apso is the problem. He is 12 years old, going blind, and tends to resist any attempt to trim around his nose.
Also, I'm not sure how to cut his hair, but I like it close to keep him cool in the summer, and require less frequent grooming...
Hi! I was looking for some video and noticed that your baby looks a lot like my Tipper. She will be 9 this coming Memorial day. Her coat is all the way to the ground. My Groomer "fired" me. Keep up the baby!
My lhasa is never that happy after a bath. She can't even stand it when I blow dry her. She just goes to sleep. This is so cute.

Mine tries jumping out of the tub. And after I take her out before I can dry her she zooms away runs really fast all around the house.

My Lhasa LOVED the dryer as much as Rocky. That and getting his fur brushed. Rocky looked so handsome when his bath was done! :)

ROFL @ his tongue hanging out while being dried. We have 4 lhasas and 1 maltese. Some of them fall asleep while being bathed and dried!
