Minor 'poor man' mods: I cut the springs (front & rear) on the DR to heavier rates, so now it doesn't bottom out if I so much as sneeze, but the rear is way under-damped now as a result. The KLR I believe has Progressive springs in the fork and modded rear links for extra height and slightly increased rate.
