  • best robin hood ever there is

  • Really good trailer!! Awesome!!!!:-) Best Robin ever!!!

  • I just sent away for it I'm so excited to see it!

  • I loved Jonas Armstrong as Robin. My biggest problem with that incarnation was that it was more the Guy of Gisborne show than it was Robin Hood.

  • waiting to see if there's a whole series release. Been burned too many times.

    Looks good, though...

  • Robin Hood? a true English Heroe!!! (think first before you comment! cos he is!!)

  • Michael Praed was more charismatic then Jason Connery.

  • This outstanding series has stayed with me ever since I first saw it back in 1984. By far THE best version of Robin that we are ever likely to see in our lifetime. Michael Praed played the role so well, and the overall authenticity of this series, raised the standard for Robin films, which has never been bettered. Nothing else can compare with this series. All of the episodes with Praed were so well written, especially the first, directed by Ian Sharp. A true masterclass in Robin Hood.

  • Robin of Sherwood will be released on Blu-ray in the U.S. - possibly May 2011 for set 1.

  • Wow!! Michael P IS the ONE and ONLY Robin Hood, thanks to him I truly believe he really existed. One of the things I mostly liked of the series is that they chose him very

young n charismatic to play the character, not like those other new versions where the actors r in their 30's or 40's... really old.

  • ¡Unforgettable scenes from a unforgettable tv series about this charming caracter!

I love Robin caracter since Disney's movie, and i felt in love with him in this magnififent english tv series! ¡SMACK!

  • uuhsearching for a person who will act like a man when the time is right

  • Sexy Robin! He looks very much like an elf ( Legolas' cousin ^^ )

    And I like Marians hairstyle.

This was the best Robin Hood series ever. ^^

  • my favorite robin hood ever by far.

  • I love this series, this is better than the new series by a long mile! Is anyone able to upload the episodes or some clips of the episodes with Prince/King John in please???

  • I loved this when I was in High School and its amazing that it doesn't look as "dated" as I thought it might. Just rediscovered it, gotta get the DVD set now...

  • Good work. I remember when Michael Pared left - it became burn a peasant village each week and lost it's mysticism and it's way (I'd guess there were behind the cameras changes at the same time). But if I do see the series when he was there on DVD it's a definite buyer.

  • It was the best Robin Hood I have ever seen. Czech republic.

  • I so much LOVED this series! I used to watch it when I was a little boy and me and my brother played with bow and arrow in the forest after it. :-D

Only 2 years ago I watched the dvds (1st and 2nd) after about 20 years and I now see more than before how magically and mystically it really was! No doubt: THIS was the ULTIMATE Robin Hood!

  • Amen to that!! :-)

  • glad they found Clannad, rather than using the kind of music on this trailer!!

  • picture quality is sharp!

  • Robin of Sherwood; awesome series. Robin of Loxley; dynamic, gorgeous. Robin Hood; the best ever - 2 words; Michael Praed.

"Nothings forgotten. Nothing is ever forgotten". No kidding! =o)

  • I love that series.

  • Robin of Sherwood is the best series in the history!

  • Only Robin of Sherwood, only Michael Praed the best Robin ever!!!

  • my favotrite serie tv 80s

  • THE best take on Robin Hood of all time! The new one is like Eragon- only on T.V! It sucks!

  • I used to watch it when i was little.. ever green!

  • Brilliant.

  • Love that trailer. As to jellybelly, heck, if you think Praed as Loxley was 'full of himself, gawd what must you think of old Errol Flynn,eh? Marching around laughing, with his hands on his hips & a cheesy grin! I do tend not to like the Connery episodes as much, I must admit; uneven writing and he didn't convince me.

  • You managed to capture the atmosphere of the series beautifully. Nice work! ^_^

  • Utter crap? You must be a fan of that new Robin Hood travesty. If this is what you consider utter crap, I can't possibly imagine what you consider good.

  • noo indeed :) im 15 years old and even I like it :) although the quality is not very good, the story is amazing x'D

  • I agree with monolith21 THIS ONE IS FAR MORE SUPERIOR TO THE NEW ONE, THE NEW ONE SUCKS!!!

  • I don't know the new series, so I have no comment on it.

  • The trailer was shot in 4:3 but when we posted it to YouTube, they stretched it to 16:9 as they do with all of the trailers we post on this site.

  • Very good trailer, good choice of clips and sounds. However, you have it with wrong format for the screen. The series was never wide-screen, it was shot for the normal 4:3 TV.

  • This is a kickass trailer! It really captures the spirit of the show and looks very professional. Great job :- )

  • I grew up watching these, glad they are finally on DVD.

  • I have it on DVD. It's a real great show. I had seen it 20 years ago and I loved it.

  • Looks like a real professional trailer for a film/series. Great job.

  • If I'd have seen this trailer 20 years ago for the first time It'd have me hooked! The velvet tones of Clannad absent, the music they chose for this trailer worked very well! Great choice of clips. Perfect!

  • I cannot wait for this to be released!

  • Erm, this series was filmed in 1985!!! however, all isn't lost, as it's being shown on ITV3 now!

  • I think anthony means released on DVD.

  • Great trailer for an amazing series. The best Robin Hood to date by many accounts.
