People{idiots} compare a Maser to a BMW for one simple reason, they ain`t got a fuckin clue what they are on about. A BMW is for people who are nothing more than badge snobs and followers of fashion. Maser owners are people who can actually like a car for what it is not because of some poxed up badge.
Also a granturismo has never pretended to be a supercar, it has always been the ultimate cross country mile muncher.
im tired of people comparing bmw to maserati. NO. because a car is necessarily faster does not mean its more fun to drive. Also because it is cheaper and faster does not mean its better. Another thing Maserati made this car for comfort and for it to live to its legacy of "forever beutiful" and im pretty sure the granturismo will never go out of style, as for comfort... ive heard cases of the maserati curing arthritis ;P

@ThePoohBooBear wow you got no taste. Italian supercars would own BMW's any day. But at least u didn't mention any 5 series, that car is extremely overrated and in my opinion one of the worst cars in its class behind the A6.
@EJY4Tre Yeh italian supercars are great but this isnt really a super car. and lol an X6 M is faster than this and seats a full family. the M5 is the greatest saloon car to date . 505BHP and a top speed of 200+ mph is no joke.
LooL dont even bring up audis there shit the new A4 RS is just catching up with the old M3 plus audi had there entire design team stolen by ford. italian cars granted probably have the nicest shapes and designs however they also become very dated and look old very quick
@ThePoohBooBear first off i said that audis are shit, second i dont think we should be comparing BMW and Maserati, third the X6 M is only faster cus it ha 150 more hp and like 100 lbs more of torque. Also the X6 looks like a piece of shit it is a very ugly car to say the least. Lastly i doubt the M5 can reach 200 mph unless a new CPU is in, maybe 180 mph max.
@ThePoohBooBear w/e im just curious about the 2011 BMW M%. I thin BMW perfected the interior of the 2011 5 series, but im not a big fan of the exterior , what do you think? Clearly the infiniti M wins the mid size luxury category, but the 5 series could win if the improved the exterior.
@EJY4Tre i agree pretty much exactly with you on the exterior hmm it seems abit too bulky although the new 5 series 2011 GT has a 7 series floor pan so that might be y :D
@ThePoohBooBear nah im talking about the normal 2011 535/550 i sedan. I think it looks way to much liek the 3 series. And you dont want to be paying for a 60,000 3 series look alike.
@criscros7 it was just an opinion...... there is nothing wrong with japanese cars, most japaneser cars dont know what a mechanic shop looks like (unlike German cars) and who said ignorance isnt bliss. Im just saying i would take a M37 over a 535 since more horsepower, better exterior and interior design, more reliable, cheaper, safer, but i do agree that a BMW having more performance, but im sorry to say the pros of the M out way the pros on the 5 series. And most auto reviewers would agree.
