I would like to learn Norse sometime. It is an ancient language used in Scandinavia after all. I think some of you Icelandics use it too. There's a teacher in my school who knows Norse.

@DrTrawly You should give the Bergen dialect in Norway a try. Also people on the island I live, including myself, are using this one. ;)

It has both some Nynorsk and Bokmål to it.

Between us, I'm not that fond of the Oslo dialect in eastern Norway... oh, wait a minute.

actually, they would. im from iceland and the viking language has not changed.

Vikings also made english words. try it: hnifur,bykkja

(o_0), gras,sky,kne and land. all those words are icelandic.
