  • Love your videos. Merci beaucoup mr Kesting

  • Weak car genetics

  • My grip can crush that smart buggie

  • the flintstones managed to do cardio and drive at the same time. why cant you?

  • Cute go-cart :)

  • extensors work when u "extend" your fingers. Gripping is flexion of the fingers. You can't ABduct the fingers from the body. However you can abduct and adduct the wrist. hehe u made me do it :) love your videos..

  • he should work on his car strength

  • This is why people crash

  • I've heard that many reps will not increase your grip strenght and on CoC's website they say to take your training serious and not train while driving, watching tv, sitting in the couch :/

  • Thanks!!

  • tennis balls are good too

  • WTF ??????????

  • "mine are in the other car" oh the one you actually like? haha

  • him in that car reminds me of the simpsons

  • This product looks cool, found it cruising the web for grip training. Google "gripups blog".

  • That was awesome. I really like the rubber band technique. Thanks!

  • cant you just sqeez the steering wheel

  • I was waiting for him to bring his bazooka...

  • haha: he wanted to fight until we shook hands and then i crushed his fingers like a rotten grape xD

  • have you crashed yet?

  • Also hand squeezing devices as shown in your video do not enhance your neuromuscular response because you cannot contract your muscles while using your grip.

  • @GrappleGrip

What method do you suggest? I'm a little older than most kids, mine are in college already :) But I do still spar and do Jiu Jitsu for my health these days, it's a great workout. But no matter how loose my grip is, my forearms burn for about 3-4 hours after class. Thanks Grapple.

  • @Spaniard71 I suggest using as many methods available to you. I dont relay on one or 2 things, I like to exercise with as many useful devises. Your forearms might always burn, but weight lifters still get sore, runners still get tired etc. I wish there was something to eliminate fatigue in all ways, until that comes along, all we can do is train hard and smart. The Grapple Grip allows you to train in ways that are not available to you in gym's stores etc. The angle of it the key. Thanks

  • @myksgrl Thanks myksgrl! I just ordered the "1" and 1 1/2" combo". I understand your logic. There's really nothing that will take away fatigue. But I know guys that don't have my problem, and I wonder why. I used to take 10 lbs dumbbell's to work and roll them, up and down, with my wrists. I got a little better, but never went away. It might be my age, not sure. But I'll try these and see how they work. Thanks again! Happy training to all!

  • Check out grapplegrip,com

  • @GrappleGrip

Pretty expensive and not really a natural grip, you can better use a soft grip, like a towel. It's much better!

  • As for a "natural grip", holding a towel or a gi is not "natural for no gi or MMA, actually we did our own study using over 1000 people that used a gi and the grapple grip the goal was to do 10 pull up we found an average 3 out of 10 people could complete 10 pullups using the grapple grip vs 8 out 10 using a gi. Currently the Grapple Grip is used by UFC fighter, Wrestlers and more. We had a college study the Grapple Grip and found the Grapple Grip could increase you grip power up to 46%.

  • Thanks for the vid

  • I am going to tell u something that will make u laugh until u try it, the most simple and the cheapest way to work ur grip is by closing and opening ur hand. I know it sounds funny, but try doing like 300 of those reps and then try to laugh :)

  • gripping a sausage...any you guys tried that ;-)

  • 5/5

as a guy that does a lot of escrima, I was amazed to find that simply turning the stick for about 10 min. while watching tv gives me a good burn. Normally people think that you need the weight with a string attached to the middle of the stick, but this is not always the case. Also heard that Dan Henderson use to crush up news papers page by page into a tight ball to develop grip strength. Like your implying, I think the key is to make it routine.

  • I just wax my Carrot when I'm in the car. It gives me a really good arm workout and it actually feels good, no pain. Oh and it's free.

  • haha!

  • good ideas, some old some new. You know Bruce Lee used to be messing with a ball or marbles or rubber bands all the time when he was just walking down the street it has been reported.

  • bruce lee also made the first grip trainer well he designed it and got a friend to make it for him but they cost a bomb now and really rare. but what he has does just as good

  • no serious gripper grips in their car. You need to focus on the exercise like anyother body part. His other advice is right on point. The green gripper is better then the COC/HG/RB etc...The ease of adding and decreasing the resistence is the main point.

  • "Big ass gripper like this" haha

  • That look he gave the passing car at the end of the vid was awesome.

Like "I'll crush YOUR hands later."

  • Good job Stephan. this has been here barely a week. i drive a lot so used my gripper training thingy and a tennis ball, and i can feel the difference already!

    Good job man!

  • Will grippers help me develop sculpted muscular forearms as well?

  • Some road ranger might make the mistake of underestimating him in that little car.

  • I crushed his fingers like a rotten grape!hahaha very entertaining.

I personally dont have a car and get my forearm burns rock climbing

  • Drive by jiu-jitsu training! Great stuff.

  • I highly recommend the Capt of Crush grippers from IronMind.

  • 5 stars! I find a tennis ball works well, too.

  • yeah . I agree it's way too boring to drive normally and not get into an accident.

  • Dynaballs are great. And once you get decent at it, you don't need the string to start it.

  • "I'll just put it into reverse darling... oh, i seem to have snapped the gear stick with my awesome hand strength!" :o)

Thanks Stephan. Love your videos, love how they often apply to reality and real life situations... next time i'm ordering, i'll be adding hand grips to the list :o)

  • Hm. I'll mention this to the hand specialist (who said there was no current device for working out the opposite of grip strength) - heh, simple and effective, thanks Sephan.

  • haha cool, this video was posted just recently. I guess I know who the other subscribers are :)

  • I liked finger and thumb, a part of my hand usually one never train. Doing pullups with 3 fingers is great too, a professional motorbike rider do it.

  • That's a very common complaint and obervation. I think that this is mostly because it's real easy to grip with 110% intensity in competition and not notice it. If you had a deathgrip like that all the time in sparring your forearms would get burned out then too.

  • @StephanKesting are you from the same state as shane carwin? you two seem to have the same accent. nice video btw. its nice to have simple but effective tools like that.

  • My grips are fine during sparring in class but when I compete my forearms turn into mush, have got you any advice? Or is it just because of competition jitters and it will eventually get better the more I compete?

  • Excelents tools Captain of Crushm Dynaball,

  • thanks for protectiing the environment, i like your car. You have good videos take care

  • You forced me to look up "skookum." Prepare for battle.

  • The other gripper is a Captains of Crush

And I used to have a Dynaball, but I think it would be difficult to explain to a judge that the reason for the multicar MVA was that I was threading a little string through the Dynaball hole to get it started...

  • A few other great tools:

    Dynaball

    Captains of Crush hand grippers

    Racquetball
