@FOOTENOTE I'm a Gapper for life! The Gap Band is my all time favorite! It broke my heart when I heard about the passing of Robert(The Godfather of the Bass). I had a great pleasure of meeting Charlie @ a Soul Train awards press conference where I worked and walked the different artists to various radio stations broadcasting live from the event. He had just dropped a solo record and I had drove all the way from L.A. to Vegas. I gave him the props he was without question due. Dude was so gracious!!!!

@FOOTENOTE I can believe that! My friend (The late Ricky Strickland of Memphis,TN.) had the pleasure of performing with these cats and he told me that they were really down to earth. He also added that the young one (talking about Robert) was the most enegetic bass player he'd ever witnessed and he never missed a note.
