I miss when all these tips actually worked before valve ruined css. They should upload the original css before the achievement update and call it CSS:Original or something since the game is still out there and whoever has css gets it for free. That would be my dream.

Cause usually ppl shoot u around the chest area and as u crouch u head is basically the body area.

@MrSlashninja Kinda yes and kinda no, You have to decide when it is a good time to. Dependent on the situation. This was before the source update (before the game was ruined) so you couldn't just spray and pray like you can now.

I keep trying to get into this game but it's just awful. When moving with the AK or M4, and you shoot, your first shot goes out further than your crosshair goes and after that all the other shots just get worse. I aimed for the head on this CT 8 feet away and shot like 10 shots and not a single one hit. That's not bad accuracy, that's just shitty recoil. Sigh...

What is your crosshair scale and size or whatever?!?!?!?

@ChubsGoHard Crosshair size will depend on the resolution you run. I run this game at 1920x1080 and I use a 2700 crosshair size. I also turn the alpha all the way up and I also make it so it's not translucent. It's a question that you should not ask though. Same goes with sensitivity. That just a personal preference and to every advantage there is also a disadvantage, you just have to find your happy medium.

@natedog204 You have to play it through servers, not a create a server. Deathmatch, zombies, etc. are all modded game types and bots do not know how to work within those types. So just join an online game and look the the server name and map. CS maps are hostage rescue, ZM are zombie mod, BH are bunny hop, DE are defuse.

@haiapjf Thanks, and really crouching doesn't matter that much in source. Crouching is mainly a good evasive thing if someone starts spraying at you and the shots will go over your head. As far as dm goes, i just joined a random dm server. Good luck.

Hey man I was wondering whats the difference if any, between Counter Strike 1.6 (which I have played ever since) and Counter Strike Source, I have got stuck to CS 1.6 and been happy with it, to me it was the best shooter, all my friends though moved to Counter Strike Source ages ago when it came out.

Is there any big/good differnece between the two games, expect the fact that its got better graphics and differen skins for charcters and guns.

@Tapirtoon33 Ya, cause if you see in this guide I always stop when I shoot. Now say your on the run and a guy is in your face coming around a corner you don't have to worry about stopping since you are so close and you can just spray and aim for the neck. I have seen wayyy too many times new players that run and shoot at the same time. You might get lucky and hit them in the head but you are better off doing what I show in this video. If you go against a good player you will get rolled running.

@funnyfootballs Before you start the game go to launch properties in steam and put "-tickrate 100" (dont put in the quotes" then create a server, have no bots, and for the map just find it under mm_kozzy_targets, make sure once your in the match make the sv_maxupdaterate 100 and then your cl_updaterate 100 or else the moving target will be way too fast.

Its more of a habit than anything. Like when you quick switch after an awp shot. But more of a dumb habit really. But i dont have Q as quick switch. My middle mouse button is quick switch. I have Q bound to my primary weapon and E bound to my pistol.

what sensitivity do you play with?

i use 6.6 at 800 dpi. Your sensitivity is really your own personal liking though. Some like it to where a full sweep makes you turn 360 degrees, some 90 and some 180. I have it where if i flick my wrist completely left or right its directly behind me.
