I was here over the summer. And let me tell you. It's just plain fun. me and my cousinns went together. we had a blast! we met so many friends but sadly i lost their numbers :(
My morning routine there:
wake up say goodmorning to parents and uncle and aunt nd
all us teens/kids went down to have breakfast and then we would see our parents there
I just left today :(.....I miss it SO MUCH......it's warm(unlike The weather back home it sucks)... I love the Friday nights there....There are also some feral cats there...people feed them... There pretty cute.
Had such a great time at this resort. The staff were super friendly and the food was delicious. This resort is located about 5 miles from Montego Bay Airport. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we plan on returning soon.
Great place party at night, swimming for hours, great pools, rooms, nonstop food, best buffet ive ever had and 110% friendly people there :). and tennis ugh i wanna go there again!
going there in 26 days from now.. really looking forward to it... just have one note from the "loser" that said only "losers" stay in an all inclusive... just because that's where your bed is, doesn't mean you can't go off the property !!!! does he think once you're in they put a leash on you and you can't go out????

Sad that jamaicans are the most violent people on earth (im not talking about the army but ordinary citizens). Adults show kids how to kill gays. Its a danger to straights as well. My travel agent confirmed that if you are a straight tourist and local jamaicans hear a conversation your having in a restaurant, shop, etc. where you talk about your gay friends from back home, you will be the victim of death threats instantly by the locals. Scary place for myself and my children. I decided not to go
All-inclusive resorts are for losers. Why go see another land if you need to feel like you're at home? "Oh no, there's criminals out there"!......losers.

yes all resort activities are free, yes everyone there is very friendly oh they have a water slide there which is cool it is nothing major but its fun
if u get there by noon like we did we had to wait about an hour til our rooms were ready but the reastaurant is open u can eat just make sure u have a change of cloths if u go in the winter so u can change which is what we did and then went on the beach till the room was ready
Bethhhh100 i thimk it depends on when u go there were teenagers there because every week they have a fashion show and they let all the young boys and girls model the cloths they sell in the resort and there were several when we were there but again it just depends who is travelin at that time but most of the families with children hung out by the waterslide or on the beach
on the resort they have snorkling which i highly reccommend!!!! they have paddle or peddle boats they have a schedule of activities to do every morning they post it and they have entertainment in the open lobby which the lobby is a great place just to sit and relax they have a nude beach on the resort with a bar that seperates the regular beach from the nude beach. they have a pool but not many people went in because the carribean sea is so much better no humidity when we were there
they have excursions which they try to book ur 1st day there which they have several like a trip to dunns river falls, we went on a bamboo raft ride about 2 miles down the river ask for captain shane he was cool and he gave my girlfriend a limestone foot massage and our friends wife also had it done they had thier own raft and captain he lathered up the limestone and rubbed it all over thier feet it exfoliates ur feet he also picked both the girls a beautiful flower and some kind of island apple
this cost $55 us dollars and for $5 more u got a lunch in a gazeebo and a presentation in an old jamaican school which is outside it is neat they show u how to make a real pina colada and let me tell u i don't like coconut but it was incredible they also let u sample 3 or 4 rums then they take u on a tour thru the banana and pineapple fields it is interesting like i said the bamboo trip was $55 and for $5 more u got a pina colada 3 shots a meal and a tour u can't beat it
that was the only excursion we went on next time we will swim with the dolphins that was $255 pp they also had horse back riding, a shopping trip on the hip strip and a couple other things we just wanted to hang at the resort everything we wanted was there and i mean everything :O) there are 3 restaurants u need a reservation for just make it early in the morning especially on the weekend they have an italian, oriental, and a carribean which the food was good in all 3 but order 2 appetizers
they are small but very good they also have a buffet which serves breakfast lunch and dinner which there is no dress code just a shirt is required, the staff for the most part was fabulous u can watch the planes land at sangster airport from the beach we seen 100's in our 8 days and that is no exaggeration it was probably 100 or more a day they look like they are going to land in the water. the omlette station always has a line they did have 2 stations when were there some days
its best to get breakfast early to avoid the crowd it seems like everyone gets up early. i forgot they have a free shuttle to jimmy buffets margaritaville at night i think it leaves the resort and back every hour not sure we were too drunk by the evening we just wanted to relax on our patio or most nights we watched the entertainment the resort had but it was well worth it we may go back in dec i just found an 8 day 7night all inclusive in dec for $731pp from philly it is amazing
i didnt mention we went in feb this year and i reccomend the all inclusive package it is a no tip resort but a couple bucks here and there goes a long way when we were there u s money was $1 = $65 the staff did go out of there way to make everyone happy becareful if u go on the shopping trip on the hip strip they stop at a flea mkt and they badger the heck out of u to buy anything from them the other stores r ok though

There is a al'natural beach and a topless beach both located on the property. Only been to the topless optional beach and there weren't any kids and far less crowded.
wateva, the food is excellent you must not have been in the right place, with that hotel shit they give to you...you need to get a real taste of Jamaica...hotels dont serve real Jamaican food they try to appeal to idiodic tourist who are fussy..like you
i went in august 2007 it was amazing. One of the best holidays ever. Despite hurrican dean, the staff managed to keep everyone happy...the jamaican staff are so friendly and funny and the free ice cream all day...haha paradise i will never forget that holiday

Sunset Beach is my home away from home. Was just there last month. I love this place. It is for adults with or without children. The best thing they could have did was to add the waterpark! I went there b/4 it was built and kids were all on the beach. Now, the kids are all in the waterpark area and the beach is left to the adults. Nothing against kids...I love them. Just not while on vacation! Can't wait to go back!
I stayed here while on vacation in Jamaica. Loved it, except nothing happens after 10 at night. The club was dead every night of the week. No entertainment at all after 10 pm. If you are taking kids, they will love it. Next time my kids are going, I think. If you are going just for the sun,beaches,and just plain relaxing, this is a great resort. I love the Jamaican people. I miss the jerked chicken, but no problem mon, I am going back.
Stayed there a while back. It didn't suck, but nowhere near a Sandals or SuperClubs property. Definitely worth what we paid for it... which is good. We were there before the Pirates playpen was added and won't go back ONLY because they are marketing to families now. I don't want kids screaming while I'm on vacation. For the budget traveler it's worth consideration.

u got alot of negitive feed back but your right .... i wanna know how many people leaving positive reviews went out front gate at nite? I liked resort but kinda like being in a prison in paradise

There is a al'natural beach and a topless beach both located on the property. Only been to the topless optional beach and there weren't any kids and far less crowded.

cuze i went for new years :)
it was the best experince ever :D
but after a week i went to Sunset Jamaica Grande in Ocho Ricos.

wateva, the food is excellent you must not have been in the right place, with that hotel shit they give to you...you need to get a real taste of Jamaica...hotels dont serve real Jamaican food they try to appeal to idiodic tourist who are fussy..like you

i went in august 2007 it was amazing. One of the best holidays ever. Despite hurrican dean, the staff managed to keep everyone happy...the jamaican staff are so friendly and funny and the free ice cream all day...haha paradise i will never forget that holiday

there fruit punch is the best ever anywhere else is like poop bu there its awesome
theres like stuff int he main loby from like 8-10pm but aftert hat i went tot he bar/ club thigny and played pool and hung out with people till like 2 am but if your bored go tot he bar/club its great and playing pool all night long awesome place wanna go back there some time soon

Sunset Beach is my home away from home. Was just there last month. I love this place. It is for adults with or without children. The best thing they could have did was to add the waterpark! I went there b/4 it was built and kids were all on the beach. Now, the kids are all in the waterpark area and the beach is left to the adults. Nothing against kids...I love them. Just not while on vacation! Can't wait to go back!

I stayed here while on vacation in Jamaica. Loved it, except nothing happens after 10 at night. The club was dead every night of the week. No entertainment at all after 10 pm. If you are taking kids, they will love it. Next time my kids are going, I think. If you are going just for the sun,beaches,and just plain relaxing, this is a great resort. I love the Jamaican people. I miss the jerked chicken, but no problem mon, I am going back.

Stayed there a while back. It didn't suck, but nowhere near a Sandals or SuperClubs property. Definitely worth what we paid for it... which is good. We were there before the Pirates playpen was added and won't go back ONLY because they are marketing to families now. I don't want kids screaming while I'm on vacation. For the budget traveler it's worth consideration.

Stayed there. Some of the nicest beaches I have ever seen. Fanastic snorkeling too.
