I threw away 3 of these servers yesterday. I'm decommissioning 2 more next week -- also destined for the trash bin. Of course it runs faster than a Mac... PCs smoke Macintosh computers in speed - even when running OSX, the operating systam built for them. Why not spend a hundred bucks more and get a desktop that smokes the server? I just bought a quad core with 2GB DDR3, a terabyte hard drive, DVDRW, and AMD760 video card for US$350 shipped. :) Oh yah, it's practically silent, too. x86 FTW
i just bought a seconde hand server hp proliant dl140 with a intel xeon 5500 2.4 ghz and 1 gig of memory and alot of noise from the cooling i try to make a other movie about the server Grtzz Poerik
im about to buy 3 of Dl140 with 2x intel xeon 5500 2.4 ghz and 2gb ram. hope they will run up to my expectations:)

not that much i think just for testing and some playing with the hardware
i must say it runs damn fast if i compare it to my mac pro !
