Some of them are killed, some are injured, and some have had their family members killed or injured in ways that make them wish for death. I know that you don't believe that these kids should learn what it's like to take a life at the expense of such people.

Because they knew they had a fitting pretense that would bring the American people on board (i.e. The Afghan government was harboring our #1 public enemy). Because they knew that, coupled w/the invasion of Iraq, they would flank Iran. Because an oil pipeline from the Caspian Sea could only be achieved through control of Afghan territory.

So that doesn't stop them from making battle plans—what THEY call "war games". They're *supposed* to tell the government "It CAN be done." So why not bring the troops home, downsize the DOD, & re-hire those downsized vets FOR the DOHS?
