We have better equipment, better logistics, and a more dynamic force. Marine MEUs can land multiple battalions anywhere in the world within hours, along with armored and air assets. Mexico can't compete. The threat is within.

i was in ciudad juarez twice in 2009 the mexican army is well trained and has a lot of urban warfare training especially from the early 90s when tijuana was a hotbed of violence and smuggling. most are underpaid and the urge provide security for cartel is a real threat to mexican sovereignty
