  • I love Sally! She seems like such a nice, loving person :') I just want to give her a hug! lol :)

  • Is lurpak butter made from grass fed cows?

  • I looked up the nutrition data profile for butter online and it was listen as "strongly inflammatory" whereas extra virgin olive oil (a non refined oil) was "strongly anti-inflammatory". I don't know much about this new science of certain foods being inflammatory, anyone care to shed some light?

  • @elementz1986 I'm thinking that is because olive oil is a good source of omega 3 fatty acids (which are all anti-inflammatory IF they have not been heated) and butter has a different, more saturated fat content not based on omega 3s or medium chain fatty acids. Amazingly, one of the best remedies for arthritis pain that I've seen is flax seed oil...the high levels of omega 3s fight inflammation and seem to give my arthritic clients far more relief than the glucosamine, msm, etc.

  • @falconskitchen To what extent have you studied the Bible?

  • I have never been a margarine fan or trim milk fan and the ones that I see eating or using it are over weight and unhealthy. I love the taste of butter and I am not afraid to use it.

  • Look how good her skin is, and get past your fat-phobia. What do you think nourished our huge brains and allowed us to develop amazing brain power over millions of years? Lecithin, choline, omega 3 and 6, sat and mono-unsaturated fats, CLA, GLA, butyric acid.... all those amazing nutrients come from grass-fed animal fats. I eat a diet that's 60% fat- I'm 5 ' 8" tall and under 9 stone. There are plenty of people eating low-fat diets who are overweight, diabetic and hypertensive.

  • lol, sure, my dear... this is so wrong and just oh my god, lol

  • @ocergnairb Why is it?

  • omg i allmost puked my stomach!!

  • you should be grass fed

  • @KingOfKingz911 lol! yeah, she doesn't look too good herself. Too much fat.

  • shes fat

  • I eat a lot of butter and I'm thin

  • @fornello123 ahaha same here!! it's delicious!!

  • Low cholesterol is implicated in every other disease apart from CHD. The liver makes more cholesterol in response to stress, smoking and sugar/refined starch, not fat. Eating cholesterol has a negligible effect on cholesterol levels- your liver manufactures 90% of total body cholesterol. The biggest US study (Framingham) showed no correlation between CHD and sat fat intake... I could go on. Read The Great Cholesterol Con by Malcolm Kendrick (a doctor, not a maverick)...

  • @pisces247 you need to read up about animal fats... they are healthful and we have been eating them for millennia. they have played a valuable part in my recovery from ME/CFS. See Fats are Good for you and Other Secrets and trick or treat by Barry Groves.

  • @Bunnycat74 What about cholesterol?

  • @pisces247 Eating anything in large amounts isn't good. Nobody goes out an eats a tub of margarine or a tub of canola oil either.

    Second, please learn to spell

  • @pisces247 Go to the weston a price website... on the first page you see a list on sponsors... that leave her with no credibility to me. That and the fact that she's fat.

  • where can I buy butter made from grass fed cows-- how do I Know that it is made this way?

  • @smlndolphn If you can get New Zealand made butter go for it.

  • @smlndolphn

You can order butter from grass fed cows and have it shipped to you; try googling "buy grass fed butter online." When doing so, I would make sure it's both grass fed and organic. It's definitely worth the extra cost.

  • @smlndolphn kerrygold is and irish butter, and made from grass fed cows.

  • @m4n4mk1 Kerrygold is a very good and very cheap butter from grass-fed cows. As an alternative for those who might have sensitivities to cow's milk is to get goat milk butter from specialty health food stores.

  • @smlndolphn check out organic pastures cultured/pastured buter- its all grass fed and organic- or better yet find some raw buter from a loca farmer

  • Hi from Australia!

    Your book changed my life.

All my 4 children are on a diet of raw dairy and animal fats.

After reading 40 pages, I got rid of all processed food from my cupboard.

    That very day.

2 years on, my son is a shoulder and head above every one of his peers.

It is my hope that the FDA some day prescribes to your direction.

    God bless Western A Price.

  • @wolfwilkins Now that your comment is a year old, would you say 3 years on that this was still a good move to make? And if so, can you put the name of the book you read in your reply?

  • @Aurora7N can you link me to my comment so I can reply? Can't find it. It's been a year after all!

  • Does anyone know how old Sally is?

  • @22poopoo Around 62 here, I believe

  • @leicbri Ok thankyou

  • Not really expecting a reply I just thought i'd share my experiance in attempting to follow the diet as outlined by the Westen Price foundation in my locality. And perhaps get the ball rolling on a discussion here :)

  • @rich0292 It's really hard to get here in the States too. I mean, raw. Grassfed is one thing, but to get any raw grassfed butter is hard, no regular stores carry raw stuff like that, even local farmers will pasteurize, homogenize, before selling. There is even talk of making raw milk illegal to sell. I fear the day when the powers that be make it illegal to eat natural food and force us to only have industrialized, processed junk.

  • @vigilantezack Hey, thanks for sharing, ive since been able to order raw grassfed milk and butter using a link from the Weston Price Foundation site, perhaps you use it? Very expensive though at £18.40 for 6 pints and 400g of butter : / . I'd like to encourage the humane farming practices on these farms however, gues we gotta pay to encourage this quality untill this stuff hits the mainstream (hopefully).

  • I live in the UK, it used to be possible to get free range butter from local shops but over the the weeks I was shopping further affield as shops stopped selling it to the point where I was shopping five miles away in Tescos...and then hey stopped selling it. I dont believe its possible for the average person to get this product in the UK anymore. Which is a shame as normal butter really is disgustingly tasteless in comparison.

  • @rich0292 Anchor butter is free range... Morrison's sells pastured butter
