  • Royal Caribbean International > Carnival

    -I speak from experience

  • @DEESHORTKID Royal Caribbean rules! Carnival is the Motel 6 of cruises. Shitty service, shitty food and children pissing in the pools and running all over the damn ship. After my experience with Carnival from Galveston, TX I can honestly say I will never go on Carnisuck ever again!

  • @Tramp962 agreed, I wouldn't say carnival sucks but every royal caribbean i've been on has been better than the carnival ones

  • nothing at all

  • carnival dream, or freedom, which should i go on?

  • @JeRseybOy251 Freedom. the Dream is too crowded from most reports.

  • Weather happens dude... get over it ~

  • So sorry you had such bad luck on Carnival. Try Royal Caribbean next time -- you will not be disappointed -- best cruise ever!

  • @CRNIAGARA55 Exactly , they can magically change the weather

  • Oh please stop whining. We have missed out on a few ports over the years due to bad weather conditions - yeah, it's sad, but I'd rather miss out on a port than have them crash the darn ship!

And how can you complain about an extra at sea day anyway? Just grab a drink and relax on the deck.

  • ooooohh rain.. be afraid

  • Sucks you had a bad experience, but doesn't mean they suck.

  • Carnival is considered bottom of the barrel of all cruise lines!.........they even sell you cheap items made in China in their gift shops at incredible profits.

  • @Tonystone1203 no its not, dude read a magazine. its the only way we go these days, been on the others, carnival cruises r the best. to each his own, i guess

  • they why did you took carnival<? just thank god you were not in holland america with octogenarians dealing with diabetes, stroke, MI, etc. Every cruise has its risks, you make the experiencie, not the curise.

  • ??? Ive been on 5 cruises and Im only 16 and out of all the cruises we didnt go to two ports one of them was cause of a hurricane in Grand cayman and the other was a disease outbreak in mexico. Would you really want to spend maybe 8 missarable hours in port durring a storm or ot being able back in your country cause your contaminated? or a day going a tan at sea?

  • im on a boat

  • Carnival also makes some money through shore excursions in port....so it's not like they missed these ports on purpose so they can just make money off of alcohol and the casino. If they missed a port, it is to ensure the safety of the passengers, crew, and the ship herself.

  • whats horrible

  • I hate to say it, but thats what you get for going on carnival. Ive been on all the others, they are amazing, carnival is deff the greyhound of the seas. You get what you pay for! Always remember that!

  • @Acc0rd79 Which Carnival ship were you on? I was worried about them too but did a 7 day on the Carnival Liberty and it was as good as any RCCL cruise I have been on. Same service, food and entertainment and if was $300 less per person. I still like RCCL but honestly that Carnival cruise I was on was no different than the 3 RCCL I have been on.

  • Every cruise line will skip ports for safety reasons. It has no difference if its Carnival or RCI or NCL or Disney...

A ship alongside a pier can be severely damaged if winds knock it into it, or if its a tender port, it could mean passengers are stuck ashore.

  • Those seas look really calm. Check out my Carnival Pride Rough Seas video. They didn't even close down things for that. We were drinking beer in the pool on the Serenity deck and splashing around. Sorry that you had such a horrible experience. We've been on both the Elation and Pride and had a blast!

  • umm excuse me but i hav been on 11 carnival cruise ships and not once have we gotten a storm!!! thts not carnival's fault...thts just bad luck. How about u giv it a better chance b4 u start goin off complaining

  • OK so blame Carnival for the weather! HAHA!!!!!!!!!!

  • it doesn't suck because I went in July and had a blast! maybe next time you should pick different timing instead of labeling a company as *suckish*!!

  • some people wouldnt know a good tiime if it jumped up and bite um in the ASS

  • maybe if you didn't go in november you wouldn't have that problem i've been on carnival twice and it's great.

  • IT DOES NOT SUCK IT WAS THE BEST CRUISES I WENT ON !!!

  • @kendallp106 YEAH! Been on it two times and loved them both!

  • @kendallp106 I hope so.... This will be my 1st cruise so yeah

  • @TheBlugurl11 it really is the best im going on Liberty in march of next year and it will be my 3rd carnival cruise

  • @kendallp106 If Carnival is the best I take it you haven't tried Celebrity? Celebrity's entertainment, food, cleanliness, atmosphere, service, environment, EVERYTHING is 10x better than Carnival.

  • @kendallp106 EXACTLY!!!!!!

  • are you able to keep the balcony door open or does it close automatically? I would love to be on a cruise and have the balcony open while i sleep :)

  • Even though Ive never been on a cruise it sounds like Carnival sucks.

  • @MrWill1985 Carnival does not suck

  • @EtecGear I agree, I've been on multiple lines, Carnival remains my favorite!

  • @MrWill1985 IDIOT

  • From what Ive noticed with Carnival. Yes they do suck. Not only from this. But also the time the Splendor caught fire. When the Splendor caught fire everyone was stuck with no electricitiy, hot water, AC or even decent food for 2-3 days while the ship was towed back to port. Other cruise lines tow the ship to the nearest port and send everyone back by air while the ship is being repaired in that circumstance.

  • @MrWill1985

Carnival re-routed Splendor to San Diego instead of Ensenada to keep guests from having to go through the mess with crossing the US border. What would you have done differently? Abandoned ship?

  • @tntornadox3 I know when Princess Cruises had a fire in 2006 they docked at the nearest port and had everyone fly back home. So with the case with the Splendor that does make sense if they dont want passengers having issues with the Mexican border and that can be a tough thing to deal with. But anyway. Anything goes wrong and a cruise line doesnt give you a proper refund you can always file a civil suit on the cruise line.

  • @MrWill1985 do u think it was on purpose dumbassss

  • Comment removed

  • it would've been nice if the attempted to reroute to different ports. on my second cruise withe Norwegian Cruise Line (back in 2009) we hit some very rough seas and we were worried that they'd skip our last port of call because we had to tender. the Captain announced that morning that we were stopping at Nassau instead, so we were relieved! yes, i personally cruise to be on the ship, but when you're promised an itinerary you want it, even if they have to make some changes.

  • You are on a cruise you go for the ship not the stops the ship is just is much fun i would be fine on the ship the whol;e time

  • based on the upload date.....im guessing you cruised during hurricane season......

  • The carnival boats are great. But thats the thing with cruises, you get great weather your lucky, you get bad weather, not so much. But the ship is still good. Carnival can't control nature, but i se what your saying. I sail through a hurricane. Which was awesome though.

  • That looks like a bad storm

  • @eggertx4 Yeah it got pretty rough haha the elderly passengers had to stay in their rooms because they kept getting knocked down and into the walls when they tried to get around.
