Maze of love really does not look as hard as everyone says it is (though i'd need to play it to see for myself), is there something im missing? all i see is going around in circles. does it get faster?

@raak1010 I generally don't use them. I use them sometimes if I think that otherwise I'm going to die, but in general I try to avoid them. Standing still just isn't as much fun =)

That method you used on Lavatein. Is it possible to do by Marisa A? Because when I try to dodge it when it is vertically it keeps on killing me. And I must say, that you are damn good at dodging all those attack. Especially maze of love.
It's possible with Marisa, but it does take a bit of practice to control the character smoothly enough (which people really don't talk enough about.) You also have to remember not to jump the gun and fly into Flandre's laser, I did that more times than I'd like to admit.
Question: Would it be possible to move above the Lävatein spell card when she 'wipes' sideways across the screen? You have done so for when she spirals round, so i am intrigued if that is possible or not.
I mean, there seems to be a gap there unless i am unaware of something else happening.
It might be for the attack where Flandre heads left to right, but I wouldn't recommend it. The angle of the bullets might randomly plug the gap (if you can actually use it), it makes heading back right a bit more frantic, you don't get to shoot her at all, plus squeezing through those bullet corridors is really easy with a bit of practice (trust me on this, I used to bomb there. Once you figure out the muscle memory stuff here it'll be smooth sailing.)
True, you do miss the opportunity of shooting, and i had overlooked the second wipe where a spiral of bullets immediately starts after.
However, these does seem to be a difference in the layout. The first sideways movement has very angular lines while the second is practically straight.
I guess for newbies moving up and over the first and going through the second could be an easier and safer way out, just not the quickest.

I dodge Laevatien in exactly the way you mention- going over it left-to-right. If you try to go over her right-to-left, her next attack will immediately kill you. I do it because as Marisa I always go too fast on the first move.

For counter clock, just always bee within a few pixels of the screen's center when the lasers pass over you and you won't be hit. Note that Flandre's bullets are slow and aimed, so you can stream/duck through them!

If you look closely though, it's actually a Star of David instead of a pentagram. It's actually a reference to Japanese pop-culture mysticism, specifically Kabbalah. More or less it's supposed to boil down to meaning that she has mysterious and powerful magic.
with a lil creative editing you couldve spliced in you're of that spellcard u posted before and saved urself an embarrassing moment of dying at the end =P
The hitbox is nice for the spellcards where you're staring at your character more... Four of a kind, Kagome-Kagome, Maze of Love, Starbow Break would all be slightly easier, but really you need to be looking ahead all the time so its use is limited.
Just curious- how much easier would this be if you could see your hitbox? Or would it not make much difference? Flan seems more chaotic than other Extras, less flashy but more raw output, less about learning the gimmick and more insane dodging. Suits her character I suppose.

@sankosa1 Yeah, it's true, but pacifist against Mokou is actually more difficult since she has way nastier nonspells.
For Yukari I've actually done the entire stage and boss pacifist, it's not too bad once you learn all her tricks!

still she is wayyyy toooooooo strong
she is the only extra stage boss that when i am watching her shoot like crazy think that this is not HUMANLY POSSIBLE

counter clock : especially made to beat up sakuya when she is fighting you

Well... Hmm, that's an interesting one.
Lunatic Remilia has Scarlet Meister and Scarlet Gensokyo, which puts her near the top.
Lunatic Eirin has Apollo 13 and Omoikane's Brain, also making her quit the challenge.
Lunatic Orin is pretty difficult as well.... But I haven't played lunatic SA all that much, so it's harder to compare.
I think, currently, I have to go with Eirin... My answer will probably change next time I say it though depending on what I'm practicing =)

Ended up figuring that out myself (a bit embarrassingly) when I played the ultra hack. Can't believe I didn't see it before.
I still fly through it when I play non-ultra to kill her faster though =)
