i have a problem doing this.

i followed the steps over and over the only difference between mine and yours is that 1 your canvas is white and not transparent and 2 you get past the masking layer. can you help?

great tut! btw, adding a tiny bit of blue to the shadow will go a long way towards realism since the light shining on the apple has a blue tint. just my 2 cents.
