are the rounds hard to come by or expensive with this gun? I've always been intrigued by this gun. I know the p90 uses the same ammo. or I'm pretty sure it does. and I know it's highly penetrating.
yup same round, as P90, it was made that way so military personnel if either weapon were to go down on them, they could use the rounds from the magazine of the othr or the reserve ammo to load the working weapon when it runs out.
it's 40% less recoil of a 9mm with a muzzle velocity of 2100fps and an effective range of 50m. it's highly penetrating. some people say that they civilian rounds can still punch soft body armor. there's 2 types of loads one being hollow point.
It's a pretty small round, but the velocity makes up for it. I don't think it would hit as hard as a .40 or .45, but it would definitely ruin your day.

Lethal accuracy without...crazy accuracy with it. OH, FYI...if you carry the blue tipped rounds, keep some literature on their legality on you, because there are a still alot of cops out there that are uninformed. 1 arrest later I learned this. Charges later dropped when determined they were legal and a chl holder. enjoy
I got mine for 975 with tax included. Its rare to find them cheaper but it might as well be a grand even at 850 with tax, but well worth it. If you get one before Aug. 31st you get 200 free rounds from FN.
