@bran206525 its E blues, so its the mixing of major, minor, mixolydian etc... but for practical purposes just use Emajor scale for the sweet bits, and E minor pentatonic for the more blues bits. Add in Flat7ths (to make mixolydian) where they sound good :)
Man, I can hear the lick from 0:10 being played in any guitar, at any speed, by any guitarist, and I'll know it's SRV.

C# work because is the relative minor of e mjaor, youre still playing e major, or eb major in this case

i would say in E major, so you have to start on the 9th fret to start your pentatonic scale :)

flat 7ths are already in the minor pentatonic there bub. but true, combine the parallel keys E minor and major - likely in pentatonic form.
