USB protection is also becoming vital. Things like Panda Securities USB Vaccine are now important to block autorun.inf files from being spread around computers via USB. It blocks the execution and transfer of these .exe files!
i have avg internet security and it turns off the windows firewall to help its own firewall work much better what should i do? leave it off or turn it on and run the risk of my avg firwall malfunchuning
@mitsubishidiamante Norton is the most foolish Virus Protection software. I would never recommend Norton for anyone. It is all flash, and pretty graphics, and slick advertising. Avoid Norton, freeware antivirus is better by far.
I also installed it on all my customer. And their did no got lag or Avast! did not leak their ressource. Its did take what its did and also same for the RAM. For sure if you want help you can ask on their forum. My Avast! run really great and for sure my protection vs your is better than your for sure. And still didnt use so mush ressource as you know or think.
Look Dude the Fact that you Installed Free Firewalls On your Customers Computers Says that you have no idea what you are doing... You Just Jipped them Out of a More secure and Smoother Running Firewall....Congrats...And now you have also been Blocked
Eh sorry but its not take so mush ressource and ram as you think. My computer run super fast with these thing i did said. So if you think Avast! is a ressource hog well done you are false ! I run like in Vista this Anti Virus and Protection with no problem or lag or ressource hog...... So i dont think you got a great pc. For sure Avast! has been recommanding by a lot specialist and expert. Its did really great more than any other anti virus with heuristic !!!
I recommand for better than what you say. Avast! 4.8 Home/Pro - Malwarebytes Free/Full - Windows Defender (inclued in Windows) - 2 Ways Firewall. Recommand by me and other specialist customer. Also if you say im false. I can sya Malwarebytes is a specialist Anti-Malware. Also very nice friendly interface and great update with a nice registry scan. So if you didnt want AntiVirusPro or any fake anti virus install on your pc and annoy you. I suggest what i said :D
if you're on Vista and can't save the HOSTS file you just edited, you need to first run Notepad with Administrator privileges (rightclick on Notepad link > Run as admin) then open the HOSTS file from inside it, edit it and save.
