My best friend and I used to laugh our butts off at the short skits that they would show on Acme Hour, you know, of the first person perspective of getting hit by a plank, a train, etc. Every time I think of these wonderful shows and what not, I feel the magic of the 90s flowing through me. Blessed be YouTube, and the internet in general.
Even though the "Acme Hour" may not be back, I'm glad CN FINALLY re-added Loony Tunes to it's daily lineup. From 11AM to 12PM every Monday through Friday. I know the timing may seem odd since that's when most young kids would be at school, but then again I remember Acme Hour used to air at 2:00 PM years ago (I forget which years though) and that was at least an hour before school ended.
Thankfully I can actually watch it since I'm in college and my classes don't start until 1:00 PM.
Ha! I remember those. By the way, can anyone tell me the name of this show I used to like? It did't have any real characters and my favorite two episodes were ehere one was life a prsentation of cars of the future and the other was the family of the future and I remember that everything for the mother-in-law was horrible. It was so funny. Thanks.
I used to get up very early on Saturday mornings just so I could watch the Acme Hour and more. I loved the Acme Hour same with Super Chunk. Cartoon Network should be deleted since what it is doing to people right now.
I miss Acme Hour! ;___; And the Tex Avery Show and I believe the other one was called Egg Head or something like that. All they did was show Looney Toons and other old cartoons. Those were the best. I miss them so much.
But, I did found Acme Hour on my recorded Dexter's Ego Trip tape that I recorded 8 years ago. It included Looney Tunes (Michigan J. Frog Ralph Phillips, and Marc Anthony), Screwball Squirrel, & Tom & Jerry.

I saw footage of the tornado pill bump on "Dude, What would Happen" when the dudes watched it and came up with the idea to re-enact classic cartoons.
