"Time to"? More like they had no choice. I don't think they could make music like they used to even if they tried to. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying emo music is the best but these guys were certainly the best at making it in my opinion. It's a shame that we must lose such a great voice of tragedy just so MCR can take a swing at being a trendy band. But that's the biz. I hope their next album is completely pop so they can win some awards at least

Yeah they have evolved... but I think its only good if the band has a blend of different genres like the Cure (synth,dance, indie,goth etc). More stuff to experiment with, kinda distracts you from getting money hungry & releasing crap albums (if your truly in it for the music). MCR only played theatrical pop indie rock... dont think i need explain more

Well, I like both things - MCR and Twilight (soon premiere in DK, yay!) Well, MCR is on Stephenie Meyers website on the playlist. And some people may say Black Parade was a terrible album, but I could argue some of their strongest tracks are on there.
Teenagers is a fucking epic song. As is Mama.
Sharpest Lives was more the style of this album, which I like.
I just got irritated by the stereotypical MCR-fan. I went to see them live and left early because of the audience.
Their music has really inspired me over the years though. Can't wait for a new album :O

they really didnt even change there sound that much. sure Welcome to the black parade and Famous last words were differant. but my way home is through you and house of wolves and espicaly sleep were all really simmlier to there previous 2 albums

@FallonFantastical Because their albums have pattern of slowly becoming a little more watered-down each time they go to record. WHile I enjoy all of their albums, The Black Parade was quite pop-ified compared to their last two. That would be why so many people dislike it.

Or how they look in general? Their music has totally declined. There isn't a single bad song on IBYMB,YBMYL. I can't say the same for the new ones. My Chemical Romance should have changed their name after this album, because they don't have the same magic they used to.

Well, I like both things - MCR and Twilight (soon premiere in DK, yay!) Well, MCR is on Stephenie Meyers website on the playlist. It's a great band (of course, as you know) and there are some songs that' very fitting for Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and even Breaking Dawn. I must say I've never seen a comment like "who do you like better jacob or whateverhisnameis" ever.
