In response to my comment in 2009, I was the only one who came back from the '09 bassline (my rookie year), and we won "open class" bass I&E this last summer ('10) with a partial tribute to the buddies in this 06 line.
Nice ensemble! I wouldn't say it was the best ever by any means, but this guy who's saying it's "average playing for a high school" is ridiculous.. Granted there's not much originality, but the playing was pretty dang good.

Ya it was established pretty qickly that, that guy is an idiot. There were 6 other enembles in '06: SCV, Esperanza, Southwind, SCV Cadets, and Pioneer.
no I never marched with him, but some of my instructors were taught by, or personally know the guys that taught the lines jess was supposed to be in, and no one has heard of him. They checked cause of all the BS stuff he was posting about Cavies....
Dude I suggest you all just ignore jess, he is an ass, no one isnt saying that, above all me, ive marched with him and busmates, i know how you feel when you say you want to kill this dude!!! he is like a drill seargent, love him, really hate him, then not really love him so much.

Ok I have been involved in Drum Corps for a long time now....but, Holy Sh*t! I honestly think this is one of THE best bassline I&E's in DCI history. They preformed the hell outa BD 99. Especially that crazy weird metric modulated part where they speed up with the 16th note rest, it's just ridiculous. I have no clue who this Oregon group is, but wow they put Div 1 basslines to shame...

Once upon a time, OC had a championship bassline. I was in OC's bassline this year, my rookie year. I wish we could repeat this amazing solo.

He claimed to march BD bass in 88. BD snare in 89. Cadets snare in 90. He also said he taught Star for a couple of years as well as Pioneer......
